On January 20, 2026, on the 86th birth anniversary of the late legendary film actor, former Union Minister, and humanitarian Sri Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju, a Free Mega Diabetes Treatment Camp will be organized in his memory.

This camp is being conducted by his wife, Smt. Syamala Devi Uppalapati, as a tribute to his lifelong values of service and compassion.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Syamala Devi Uppalapati said, This camp reflects Krishnam Raju garu’s belief that serving people is the greatest responsibility. Through these annual efforts, we aim to provide timely care and support to every diabetic patient who needs help.

The camp is being organized by the UK–India Diabetic Foot Foundation under the guidance of Dr. Venu Kavarthapu, a well-known diabetic foot specialist from King’s College Hospital, London. A team of 32 experienced doctors from India and other countries will participate in the camp.
