‘David Reddy’ Will Be a Complete Feast for My Fans: Manchu Manoj
Rocking Star Manchu Manoj is all set to return as a hero with a powerful new film titled David Reddy. The film is produced by Venkat Reddy and Bharat Motukuri under the banners Velvet Soul Motion Pictures and True Radix, and is directed by Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti.
Set in the British-era period, David Reddy is a large-scale pan-India action drama. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Maria Ryaboshapka plays the female lead. The glimpse of the film was launched today at a grand event in Hyderabad, where the team shared exciting details.
Action choreographer Supreme Sundar said that Manchu Manoj’s action always has a strong fan base and David Reddy will give him powerful recognition as an action hero.
Producer Venkat Reddy revealed that Manoj will be seen in a completely new avatar and said the glimpse shows only a tiny part of the film. He praised director Hanuma Reddy and the strong technical team, assuring more updates soon.
Producer Bharat Motukuri described David Reddy as a story of rage born from oppression, where a man rises against the British. He said the film is tailor-made for Manchu Manoj and will leave a strong impact.
Music director Ravi Basrur said his bond with Telugu audiences has grown after KGF and Salaar. He promised that David Reddy will offer powerful and memorable music, much stronger than what was shown in the glimpse.
Director Hanuma Reddy Yakkanti shared that after completing the story, Manoj was his first and only choice. He said the film is a fictional character inspired by real incidents and described David Reddy as a true pan-India story with massive scale.

Manchu Manoj thanked his fans for standing by him through every phase of his career. He said David Reddy is exactly the kind of film he wanted to return with as a hero.
This is a period action film set between 1897 and 1922. The producers invested heavily without compromising on quality. David Reddy is not a peaceful man he believes freedom should be taken by force, not begged for,” Manoj said.
He revealed that David Reddy’s bike is called ‘War Dog’ and the stick he carries is named ‘Death Note’, symbolizing his violent rebellion against British atrocities.
Addressing rumors about guest appearances, Manoj clarified that while the story has scope for special roles, no actors have been approached yet.
“This film will be like a full meals feast for my fans. It shows what happens when one man stands up against brutal incidents that history never spoke about,” he concluded.
