Story
The narrative unfolds through the perspective of Bhooma Devi (Rashmika Mandanna), a soft-natured and peace-loving young woman raised by her single father. She moves to Hyderabad to pursue her M.A. in English, where she meets Vikram (Dheekshith Shetty) student from another department.
Their love begins as a gentle romance soon changes into an emotionally draining relationship. Vikram’s possessiveness and erratic temperament begin to suffocate Bhooma, pushing her into a space of emotional turmoil and isolation. Performances
Rashmika Mandanna delivers one of her most mature and layered performances to date. Her portrayal of Bhooma is heartbreakingly real she captures the real emotions in perfect way . The climax, in particular, showcases her at her finest.
Dheekshith Shetty impresses with his intense screen presence and convincingly portrays the complexities of Vikram’s character
Anu Emmanuel shines in her limited yet crucial role, offering warmth and sensitivity. Rao Ramesh once again proves his mettle, lending emotional gravitas to the father’s role, while Rohini, though effective, could have been given a more fleshed-out and compelling part.
Technical Aspects
Director Rahul Ravindran deserves appreciation for tackling a delicate subject with honesty and restraint. His narrative approach focusing more on emotions than melodrama gives the film authenticity.
