Sri Sravanthi Movies to Present Pranav Mohanlal’s ‘Dies Irae’ to Telugu Audiences
Young Malayalam star Pranav Mohanlal, son of legendary actor Mohanlal, continues to expand his cinematic horizons with his latest mystery-horror thriller, Dies Irae. Following the phenomenal success of Hridayam, which made him a youth icon across South India, Pranav returns with a film that promises to blend psychological tension and haunting visuals in equal measure.
In an exciting development for Telugu audiences, Sri Sravanthi Movies, the reputed production and distribution banner led by Ravi Kishore, has acquired the rights to release Dies Irae across the Telugu states. The banner has an illustrious history of introducing several celebrated films from other languages from Kamal Haasan’s Pushpaka Vimanam and Nayakudu to Dhanush’s Raghuvaran BTech setting a high benchmark for quality cinema.
Dies Irae, written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, is generating tremendous buzz among cinegoers and trade analysts alike. Sadasivan, acclaimed for his previous works Bhoothakaalam and Bhramayugam, is known for his mastery in crafting immersive, atmospheric horror. With Dies Irae, he is expected to deliver yet another gripping cinematic experience.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Sushmita Bhatt, Jibin Gopinath, Jaya Kurup, Manohari Joy, and Arun Ajikumar, with music composed by Christo Xavier. Produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth under the banners of Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios, the film’s technical brilliance and story depth are said to be its major highlights.
While Dies Irae releases in Malayalam and Tamil on October 31, 2025, the Telugu version distributed by Sri Sravanthi Movies will arrive in theaters in the first week of November 2025. With its intriguing theme and powerful performances, Dies Irae is poised to be a hauntingly unforgettable cinematic experience for Telugu audiences.
