Veteran Tollywood actor Dr. M. Mohan Babu garu visited the residence of the late Kota Srinivasa Rao to offer his deepest condolences to the bereaved family. During his visit, he fondly remembered the legendary actor, reflecting on their decades-long friendship and the irreplaceable bond they shared.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Mohan Babu said,
"Kota Srinivasa Rao was more than a friendhe was like a brother. His sudden passing came as a deep shock, especially since I wasn’t in Hyderabad when it happened. I had to come in person to pay my respects to the family."
He recalled a cherished memory connected to his upcoming film Kannappa, saying,
"After watching the Kannappa teaser, Kota garu called me. He praised the film and appreciated Vishnu’s performance. That gesture touched me deeplyit was a call full of affection and encouragement."
Reflecting on their professional journey, he shared,
"In 1987, I cast Kota garu as the main antagonist and a magician in my film Veera Pratap, produced under my home banner. That marked the beginning of a memorable collaboration. We went on to share the screen in many films over the years."
Mohan Babu lauded Kota's versatility and mastery as an actor:
