Tirupati, [26-01-2025]: On this Republic Day, Mr. Vishnu Manchu, ProChancellor of Mohan Babu University, unveiled a commendable initiative to honor the sacrifices of armed forces personnel. In a heartfelt gesture, the university will provide a 50% scholarship for the children of Telugu individuals serving in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. This scholarship is available not only to families in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but extends to all Telugu families across India, covering all courses offered at Mohan Babu University.

In his statement regarding the announcement, Mr. Vishnu Manchu expressed, “Our soldiers make tremendous sacrifices to protect our nation. This is a small way for us to demonstrate our respect and gratitude for their service. I hope this initiative inspires other universities and institutions to contribute to the welfare of those who serve the country selflessly.”

This initiative is part of Vishnu Manchu’s broader outreach efforts to give back to society. Recently, he disclosed that he had adopted 120 orphaned children in Tirupati nearly two years ago, quietly supporting their education, wellbeing, and overall development. His dedication exemplifies his commitment to uplifting underserved communities and making a positive impact in their lives.

Beyond this new scholarship program, Vishnu Manchu has led various initiatives through Mohan Babu University and other platforms aimed at creating educational and empowerment opportunities. Under his guidance, the university has consistently worked towards promoting inclusivity and providing access to quality education for underprivileged individuals.

The introduction of the 50% scholarship for armed forces personnel's children marks another significant step in his mission, reinforcing his vision of merging education with compassion and service to the nation.
