The 59th Kalavedika Film Music Awards took place in Hyderabad, celebrating the achievements of lyricists, singers, and music directors. Organized by Bassa Srinivas Gupta and Bhuvana, the event honored the legacy of R.V. Ramanamurthy, fulfilling the aspirations behind the establishment of Kalavedika. Held at Prasad Film Lab on January 4th, the program was supported by various sponsors, including Vasavi Groups, Uppala Foundation, Manepalli Jewellery, Sri Charana, and Communication Southern Travels.
Notable chief guests included Smt. Kalva Sujatha Gupta, Chairperson of the Telangana State Arya Vysya Corporation, directors Muppalaneni Siva and Indraganti Mohan Krishna, music directors R.P. Patnaik and M.M. Srilekha, singer Kausalya, Nandamuri Rupadevi (granddaughter of the legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao), as well as Kola Srinivas, Gandham Ramulu, L. Prasannakumar, Vinay Hariharan, and others.
The event recognized the efforts of lyricists, music directors, singers, and sound engineers who contributed to the success of films released in 2024. Bhuvana announced that Kalavedika will continue to honor the vision of R.V. Ramanamurthy in the years to come.
