Team Rana Naidu visits Hyderabad ahead of the launch of their show on Netflix
Superstars Vekatesh and Rana Daggubati will be seen as the warring father-son duo in the series

Rana Naidu, the fixer for the stars has made his way back home to Hyderabad - and his biggest problem, his father, Naga has followed suit. What are the Naidus’ up to now? Ahead of the launch of their highly anticipated series on March 10th, the team of Rana Naidu has brought their battle to Hyderabad. Produced by Sunder Aaron and Locomotive Global, the series is created by Karan Anshuman and directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn S. Varma.
Set in the glitzy and gritty lanes of Bombay, Rana Naidu is a high octane, high energy action drama involving a father and his son. Starring superstars Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, Rana Naidu is all set to premiere on Netflix on the 10th of March. Rana Daggubati, who plays the infamous Rana Naidu in the upcoming series is a man who is dedicated to his job and his family. It’s a well established fact across the celebrity circuits that Rana juda hai toh scandal bada hai! Rana can fix every problem, except his relationship with his father. For the first time ever, Venkatesh Daggubati will be seen as the anti-hero and Rana’s arch nemesis - Naga Naidu. Rana Naidu marks the streaming debut of this real life uncle-nephew duo who will be seen as the warring father and son on-screen!
Amidst much fanfare, at a press conference hosted in Hyderabad, Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Sunder Aaron, Suparn Verma and Karun Anshuman, shared about coming together for an incredible project; their experience shooting the series and what the audience can expect to see as the series is all set to premiere soon!
Rana Daggubati said "I'm overwhelmed by the love that has been showered on us so far. This is all new for me and Venky. I still remember working on the first day with Venky. I had always thought of the moment but never realized what I would feel when it happens. I have always played either a white or a black character in the extreme, but Rana Naidu is a gray guy with a dark past and his relationship with his father is even darker. We've never tested this format before and this marks our streaming debuts with Netflix and it has been an amazing ride. We look forward to our audience enjoying Rana Naidu!”
Venkatesh Daggubati further added "The response to our trailer has been amazing. I am so grateful to our fans, the press and audiences around the world that have supported us so far. Rana Naidu is a new world for me - it is my first long-format project. There was a lot of learning and unlearning for me - but to be able to share the screen with my talented nephew Rana was the highlight. This is the first time we are working together on a series and it has been a delight. The series boasts of an ensemble cast featuring Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajesh Jais in key roles and promises to be a nail-biting, edge of the seat experience for audiences!
