Allu Sirish special guest at Kannada movie Tagarutrailer release



Popular south Indian star Allu Sirish was the special guest at the trailer launch of one of the most anticipated Kannada movies, Tagaru, featuring Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar, in Bengaluru on November 7 (Tuesday).

Appearing in front of a packed audience in the City Town Hall, Sirish spoke in Kannada and thanked the makers of Tagaru for inviting him for the event. The audience greeted him with a thunderous applause, especially, when he raised slogans "Dr. Rajkumarge Jai" (in memory of the late thespian and Dadasaheb Phalke award recipient) towards the conclusion of his speech. Sirish also recalled the contributions of the late Smt. Parvathamma Rajkumar to the film industry with the Dr. Rajkumar family present at the event.

He was felicitated with a huge garland on the occasion by various fans' association in the presence of Kannada superstars Puneeth Rajkumar, Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar, Rakshith Shetty, Geetha Shivarajkumar, actors Dhananjaya, Vasishta Simha, Manvitha Harish and several others. The Tagaru team also thanked Sirish for his participation.

The highlight of the event was Sirish matching steps with Rakshith Shetty and Shivarajkumar on the dais to the hit Tiger Dance feat from Rakshit Shetty's critically acclaimed movie Ulidavaru Kandanthe. As Shivarajkumar also joined the duo, the audience went berserk seeing all the three stars dance together for the first time in Bengaluru.

The Tagaru team felicitated veteran Indian cricket player G R Vishwanath on the occasion.

Tagaru is directed by well-known Kannada film-maker Duniya Soori while K P Srikanth has produced it. In addition to Shivarajkumar, Manvitha Harish, Bhavana Menon, Dhananjaya and Vashistha Simha are part of the star cast. Charan Raj has composed the music for the action-filled movie. Film producers Sa Ra Govindu, Sarat Nathella Rajkumar, renowned director and lyricist Yogaraj Bhat, actor Pratham and senior police officers were also present.
