Kollywood Thalaivar aka Rajinikanth is biggest star hero in Kollywood. He is not only popular in Kollywood but has great number of fans all over the world. But one fan, Director Selva, is making a film with Rajinikanth's birth date as title.
The movie is titled as '12-12-1950'. The film is all about five Rajini fans. It is a comedy entertainer,starring Ramesh Tilak, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, MS Bhaskar and John Vijay. Besides directing the film, Director Selva has also acted as Kabali Selva.
On this happy occasion, Director Selva said "Rajini sir is huge role model for me. We all celebrate everyday as his birthday. My film '12-12-1950' is all about a fan and his idol (Rajinikanth). The hero of this film curiously waits for the release of his idols film. From where he has to come, Under what circumstances, he sees the film is the main stream story. It is a hilarious entertainer with heart touching emotions. Along with me, Thambi Ramiah plays very interesting role. He will be seen in nine looks. Yogi Babu, MS Bhaskar, Delhi Ganesh, John Vijay, Ponnambalam, Ramesh Thilak, Adhavan, Ajay, Swaminathan, Rishi, Shafi, Ashwini Chandrasekar, Prasanth and others will be seen in supporting roles. Adithya-Suriyan has composed music, Dinesh Ponraj done the editing and Vishnu Sri is handling the camera department. Koteeswara Raju is bankrolling under Jyostar Entertainment banner".
