Akkineni Nagarjuna, PVP Cinema, Ohmkar’s Raju Gari Gadi 2 Launched
Raju Gari Gadi 2 is Akkineni Nagarjuna’s new horror thriller in the direction of Ohmkar to be jointly produced by PVP Cinema, OAK Entertainment and Matinee Entertainments. This crazy project is grandly launched today at Annapurna Studios in the presence of celebrity guests. K Raghavendra Rao gave clap for the first scene, producer Prasad V Potluri switched on the camera while Ohmkar directed it.
Producer PVP said, “Raju Gari Gadi 2 is next prestigious film to be made on our banner after Oopiri. I am sure this film will remain as memorable film in Nagarjuna career. Following the inputs from Nagarjuna, we made few changes in the script. We will begin the shooting from December first week. I am sure Raju Gari Gadi 2 will be a blockbuster.”
Dialogue writer Abburi Ravi said, “For the first time I worked on Don with Nagarjuna, later Ooiri and now Raju Gari Gadi 2. He is doing a superb character and I believe this will remain the best in his career.”
Music director SS Thaman said, “I am delighted to work on this project. After Balupu, this is my second association with PVP. Director Ohmkar came up with a superb script and I thank him for giving me this opportunity.”
Director Ohmkar said, “Raju Gari Gad released for last Dasara on October 27 became a super hit. Exactly after one year on the same day, I narrated Raju Gari Gadi 2 story to Nagarjuna sir. He immediately agreed to become a part. God blessed me to have him as my hero. Nagarjuna will be presented in a new look and I promise to fulfill the trust laid on me by producer PVP.”
King Nagarjuna said, “Manam is a big turning point in my career. Soggade Chinni Nayana is another big hit. When I was quandary to select my next, I got Om Namo Venkatesaya and I am acting in it. Then, Ohmkar met me through Niranjan and PVP. I was looking for a novel script and this story really excited me. Actually, thriller is my favorite genre and I never acted in such character before.
I know Ohmkar long before. I did not watch Raju Gari Gadhi. Somehow we missed to work together on a game show. I have complete trust on him. After Oopiri and Soggade Chinni Nayana, this will be a distinctive characterization. I am really eager to join the shooting very soon. ”
