Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Avasti of Sri Avanthi Silks said his company had two decades of
experience in the wholesale business of handloom fabrics, and had now entered the retail segment.
"The concept of our retail venture is to bring to the customers handlooms like Kalamkari, baatic Print, Paithani, Ikkat Sarees Maheshwari sarees and more across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattishgarh and Madhya Pradesh," Avasti said.
Sri Avanthi Silks also showcased today a live demonstration of the making of Kalamkari, baatic Print and Uppada sarees by weavers and artisans at its Basheerbagh showroom.C.S.Rama Lakshmi IFS graced the Occasion.
