ఇప్పుడు నిర్మాతలు కథ కంటే కాంబినేషన్‌నే ఎక్కువ నమ్ముకుంటున్నారు:  నిర్మాత బెక్కెం వేణుగోపాల్

టాటా బిర్లా మధ్యలో లైలా చిత్రంతో నిర్మాతగా ప్రస్థానం మొదలుపెట్టి అభిరుచి గల నిర్మాతగా పేరు తెచ్చుకున్నారు బెక్కెం వేణుగోపాల్. సత్యభామ, నేను లోకల్, పాగల్, ప్రేమ ఇష్క్ కాదల్, సినిమా చూపిస్తా మామ, హుషారు వంటి విజయవంతమైన చిత్రాలతో సక్సెస్‌ఫుల్ నిర్మాతగా గుర్తింపు పొందిన బెక్కెం వేణుగోపాల్ ప్రస్తుతం పలు ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లతో బిజీగా వున్నారు. కాగా ఈ నిర్మాత పుట్టినరోజు రేపు (ఏప్రిల్ 27) ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయనతో జరిపిన ఇంటర్వ్యూ ఇది.

ఈ పుట్టినరోజు ప్రత్యేకత ఏమైనా వుందా?

్టనిర్మాతగా బిజీగా వున్నాను. 2006లో అక్టోబర్ 12న నిర్మాతగా నా  తొలిచిత్రం విడుదలైంది.

మొదటి చిత్రం టాటా బిర్లా మధ్యలో లైలా చిత్రంతోనే తొలిసక్సెస్‌ను అందుకున్నాను. అక్కడి నుంచి 16 సంవత్సరాలు గడిచిపోయింది. సినిమా తప్ప వేరే వ్యాపకం, బిజినెస్ నాకు లేదు. సినిమా  తరువాత సినిమా చేస్తూ వచ్చాను.. నిర్మాతగా 12 సినిమాలు, వేరే బ్యానర్లతో కలిసి 4 సినిమాలు నిర్మించాను.

నిర్మాతగా మీరు సంపాందించింది ఏమిటి?

డబ్బుల గురించి చెప్పను కానీ అంతకంటే విలువైన అనుభవం సంపాందించాను.. నిర్మాతగా ప్రతి సినిమాను ఇష్టంగా నిర్మాంచాను. అదే నాకు గొప్ప అనుభూతి.. నాకు ఎంతో ఇష్టమైన ఫీల్డ్‌లో వున్నాను. సూపర్‌స్టార్ కృష్ణగారి సినిమా షూటింగ్ చూద్దామని వచ్చిన నేను ఈ రోజు నిర్మాతగా ఎదగడం. నాకు ఇష్టమైన సినిమాలో వుండటం ఎంతో ఆనందంగా వుంది.గొప్ప సినిమాలు చేయాలన్న తపన వుంది. ఏది చేయాలన్న కథే కావాలి, ఆ కథల గురించి అన్వేషణ గురించి నిత్యం అన్వేషిస్తుంటాను.

ఇప్పటి వరకు చిన్న సినిమాలే నిర్మించారు? భారీ చిత్రాల నిర్మాణం జరపలేదు ఎందుకని?

బారీ బడ్జెట్ చిత్రాలు  చేయకపోవడానికి రీజన్ అంటూ ఏమీ లేదు. ఒక కథ తరువాత ఒకటి చేస్తూ వచ్చాను. కరోనా సమయంలో రెడీ చేసుకున్న రెండు బిగ్ బడ్జెట్ సినిమా కథలు వున్నాయి. వాటి విశేషాలు త్వరలోనే చెబుతాను. అంతే కాకుండా జనాదరణ కథలతో సినిమాలు నిర్మించడమే నాకు ఇష్టం. కథ బాగుంటే ఎన్నో అద్బుతాలు జరగుతాయి.

నిర్మాతగా సంతృప్తిగా వున్నారా?

నన్ను ఆడియన్స్ ఎప్పుడూ మోసం చేయలేదు. నేను ఒకటి రెండు సార్లు వాళ్ల నమ్మకాన్ని నేను వమ్ము చేశాను. భవిష్యత్‌లో మళ్లీ అలా జరగకుండా చూసుకుంటాను. నిర్మాతగా  ఎంతో సంతృప్తిగా వున్నాను.ఆడియన్స్ మన జడ్జిమెంట్‌ను నమ్ముతున్నారు..వాళ్ల నమ్మకాని కాపాడుకోవాలి అనేది మాత్రమై నామైండ్‌లో వుంది.

అల్లూరి విడుదల విషయంలో మీరు ఇబ్బందులు పడ్డారని తెలిసింది?

అల్లూరి సినిమాకు విడుదల సమయంలో జరిగింది కాకుండా వేరే విషయాలు మీడియాలో ప్రచారంలోకి వచ్చాయి. ఇప్పటికి హీరో శ్రీవిష్ణుతో నాకు మంచి రిలేషన్ వుంది. ఇక ఈ విషయంలో నేను మాట్లాడటం కంటే శ్రీవిష్ణునే మాట్లాడితే బాగుంటుంది. మా ఇద్దరి మధ్య అనుబంధం చాలా బాగా వుంది. అండర్‌స్టాండింగ్‌లో వెళుతుంటాం, సినిమా విడుదల కూడా ఎక్కడా ఆగలేదు. మార్నింగ్ షో కాస్త ఆలస్యంగా విడుదలైంది. అంతే తప్ప అంతకు మించి ఏమీ జరగలేదు. పతి సినిమాకు జరిగే గొడవలే..ఆ సినిమాకు జరిగిన అనుభవాలు నాకు పాఠాలు నేర్పాయి. సినిమా ఇష్టంగా చేశాను. అది గొప్ప సినిమా కాకపోవచ్చు కానీ బ్యాడ్ సినిమా కాదు.

ఓటీటీల ప్రభావంతో చిన్న సినిమాలు కంటెంట్ బాగుంటేనే ప్రేక్షకులు థియేటర్‌కు వస్తున్నారు? ఈ విషయంలో నిర్మాతగా కథల విషయంలో ఎలాంటి జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు?

థియేటర్‌లో ఆడే సినిమా మాత్రమే లైఫ్ వుంటుంది. థియేటర్‌లో హిట్ అయితేనే ఓటీటీ వాళ్లు సినిమాలు తీసుకుంటున్నారు. సినిమాల నిర్మాణం పెరిగింది కానీ క్వాలిటీ పెరగలేదు. ఓటీటీ దగ్గర సినిమాలు  క్యూలో వుంటున్నాయి. కనీసం ఓటీటీలో టెలికాస్ట్ చెయ్యమని అడుక్కునే పరిస్థితి వుంది. కంటెంట్ బాగుంటేనే సినిమా లు నిర్మిస్తే ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితి రాదు.

దిల్‌రాజుతో మీ జర్నీ కంటిన్యూ చేస్తారా?

తప్పకుండా చేస్తాను.మా జర్నీకి దిష్టి తగలకూడాదని కోరుకుంటున్నాను. ఆయన సపోర్ట్ నాకు ఎప్పుడు వుంటుంది. ఆయన జడ్జిమెంట్‌పై నాకు ఎంతో నమ్మకం వుంటుంది.  

విరూపాక్ష దర్శకుడు కార్తీక్ దండుతో సినిమా వుంటుందని అంటున్నారు?

కార్తీక్ దండుతో నాకు  బాగా పరిచయం. ఏడు సంవత్సరాల క్రితం ఒక కథ విన్నాను. నాతో సినిమా వుందా లేదా అని ఆయన చెప్పాలి. ఇప్పుడు గొప్ప సక్సెస్‌ను వచ్చింది. ఏంజాయ్ చేస్తున్నాడు. అన్ని కుదరితే తప్పకుండా భవిష్యత్‌లో ఆయనతో సినిమాలు చేస్తాను.

ఈ రోజుల్లో సినిమాల్లో స్టార్ హీరోలు వుంటేనే టిక్కెట్‌లు తెగుతాయి. మీరు మాత్రం ప్రతి సారి కొత్తవాళ్లతో రిస్క్ ఎందుకు చేస్తుంటారు?

కథ, కంటెంట్  బాగుంటే ఎవరితోనే నైనా సినిమాలు ఆడుతాయి, నాకు ఎక్కువ యూత్ జోనర్‌లో సినిమాలు చేస్తుంటాను. అన్ని సినిమాలు కొత్తవాళ్లతోనే చేశాను. సక్సెస్ అయ్యాను.

భవిష్యత్‌లో మీరు నటించడం కానీ దర్శకత్వం కాని చేసే అవకాశం వుందా?

పబ్లిసిటి కోసం ఎన్ని యాక్టింగ్‌లైనా చేస్తాను. తప్ప సినిమాల్లో నటించలేను. నిర్మాతకు మంచిన నటుడు ఎవరు వుండరు. అప్పుడప్పుడు లోపల అగ్నిపర్వతం బద్దలవుతున్న బయటికి మాత్రం శాంతంగా వుండాల్సిన పరిస్థితి వుంటుంది

ప్రస్తుతం సినిమా పరిశ్రమలో నిర్మాత పరిస్థితి ఎలా వుంది?

నిర్మాతది ఎప్పుడూ క్లిష్ట పరిస్థితే.. సినిమా మీద నాలెడ్జ్ వున్న వాళ్లు, అనుభవం వున్న నిర్మాతలు తీసిన సినిమాల్లో సక్సెస్ రేట్ ఎక్కువ. అనుభవంతో పాటు సినిమా మీద అంకితభావం వుండాలి. అప్పుడే నిర్మాతగా సక్సెస్ సాధిస్తారు. అయితే ప్రస్తుతం తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమలో

కథ కంటే కాంబినేషన్ నమ్ముకుని ఎక్కువ సినిమాలు చేస్తున్నారు నిర్మాతలు. దాని వల్ల సినిమా సూపర్‌హిట్ అయినా లాభాలు రావడం లేదు. కాంబినేషన్ నమ్ముకుని పారితోషికాలు పెంచేయడం వల్ల సినిమాల బడ్జెట్ కూడా ఊహించని స్థాయికి చేరుకుంటుంది.

నిర్మాతగా మీ లక్ష్యం ఏమిటి?

చనిపోయే వరకు మంచి సినిమాలు తీస్తు వుండాలి.

ప్రస్తుతం మీరు చేస్తున్న సినిమాలు?

కొత్తవాళ్లతో రోటి, కపడ, రొమాన్స్ అనే సినిమాతో పాటు నిర్మాత చంద్రశేఖర్ రెడ్డి కలిసి సుడిగాలి సుధీర్‌తో ఓ సినిమా చేస్తున్నాను. పాగల్ సినిమా దర్శకుడు నరేష్ ఈ సినిమాకు దర్శకుడు. వీటితో పాటు ఓటీటీ కోసం అవికాగోర్ ప్రధాన పాత్రలో స్వరూప్ దర్శకత్వంలో ఓ క్రేజీ థ్రిల్లర్ చేస్తున్నారు. అందరూ సర్‌ప్రైజ్‌గా ఫీలయ్యే థ్రిల్లర్ ఇది.

 Popular Sony Music Company acquires the audio rights of 'Ambajipeta Marriage Band' starring Suhas in prestigious production house GA2 Pictures and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments

Suhas, the promising young actor of Telugu cinema, has been making waves with his performances in films like 'Colour Photo' and 'Writer Padmabhushan'. He is now ready to entertain the audience with his upcoming film "Ambajipeta Marriage Band." The film produced jointly by GA2 Pictures and director Venkatesh Maha's Mahayana motion pictures, the film is coming also under the banner of Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment.

The film is directed by newcomer Dushyanth Katikineni, and its first look poster was released recently, creating quite a buzz among movie lovers. It also shows the film's theme, which revolves around a marriage band, and promises a fun-filled ride. The film completed shooting and currently in Post production work.

Now the latest update is that the audio rights of this movie have been acquired by Sony Music Company. The prestigious company will be bringing the audio of Ambajipeta Marriage Band for audience and music lovers.

Suhas has been doing some crazy characters and the makers say that this film will also be high on comedy and drama. Jagadeesh Pratap Bandari of Pushpa fame and Goparaju Ramana playing key roles. The makers are planning to release the film in summer. Music is scored by Sekhar Chandra. Wajid Baig and Kodati Pawan Kalyan are handling the cinematography and editing departments.

Director Venkatesh Maha is known for his critically acclaimed films like 'Care Of Kancharapalem' and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya is one of the producers of the film, and his association with the film is sure to add an extra layer of quality to it. As it is also coming from the producers of hits like '100% Love', 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy', 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Most Eligible Bachelor', there is a curiosity factor related to this film.

రెండు రకాలుగా వుంది. నిజాయితీగా చెప్పాలంటే కొంచెం ఒత్తిడి అయితే వుంది. ఫలితం గురించి కాదు. గత నెల రోజులుగా రాత్రి,పగలు యూనిట్ అంతా పని చేస్తోంది. చాలా పెద్ద సినిమా. గంటన్నర సీజీ వర్క్. ప్రతి ఫ్రేం లో సీజీ వుంటుంది. ఇదంతా ఒత్తిడితో కూడుకున్నదే.  

‘ఏజెంట్’ ఏ విషయంలో బిగ్ మూవీ ? 

ఏజెంట్ భారీ స్పాన్ వున్న సినిమా.స్పై సినిమా అనగానే అవుట్ డోర్ వుంటుంది. అన్నీ ఫారిన్  లోకేషన్స్. యాక్షన్స్ సీన్స్ కోరియోగ్రఫీ చేసిన తర్వాత, ఎడిటింగ్ చేసిన తర్వాత మార్పులు వస్తే కష్టం. మామూలు ఎంటర్ టైనర్స్, డ్రామా మూవీలలో చిన్న చిన్న తప్పులు వుంటే సర్దుకుపోవచ్చు. ఏజెంట్ లాంటి మూవీకి అది కుదరదు. అందుకే చాలా సమయం తీసుకుంది. 

బడ్జెట్ కూడా మార్కెట్ కి మించి వుందని విన్నాం ? 

ఇది వరకే చెప్పాను. మార్కెట్ అనేది ఇంకలేదు. కంటెంటే మార్కెట్. కంటెంట్ కి పెట్టాల్సిన ఖర్చు పెడితే దానిని వెనక్కి తీసుకురావచ్చు. 

మీరు స్టార్ట్ చేసినప్పటికీ ఇప్పటికీ మార్కెట్ బాగా పెరిగింది కదా.. ఇది మీకు అడ్వాంటేజ్ అయ్యిందా ? 

ఖచ్చితంగా అడ్వాంటేజే. మార్కెట్ పెరుగుతుంది కాబట్టి ఎంత ఒత్తిడి ఉన్నప్పటికీ హిట్ కొడితే మనది మనకి వచ్చేస్తుందనే నమ్మకం వుంది. 

ఏజెంట్ పాన్ ఇండియా సబ్జెక్ట్ కదా .. అటు వైపు ఎందుకు అలోచించలేదు ? 

‘ఏజెంట్’ అందరికీ నచ్చే కంటెంట్. అయితే పాన్ ఇండియా విడుదలకు కనీసం మూడు నెలలు సమయం వుండాలి. మొదట తెలుగుపై ఫోకస్ చేసి సెకండ్ వీక్ నుంచి అటు వైపు ప్లాన్ చేసే అలోచన వుంది. ఇప్పటికే డబ్బింగ్ అంతా పూర్తయింది. 

బడ్జెట్, బిజినెస్ పరంగా ఇప్పుడు నిర్మాతలు కష్టాలు ఎదురుకుంటున్నారనే అభిప్రాయం వుంది కదా?

నా వరకూ నేను చాలా హ్యాపీ అండీ. సినిమా మొదలుపెట్టినప్పుడే మేము పెద్ద సవాల్ ని తీసుకుంటున్నామనే క్లారిటీ వుంది. మేము ఒక లక్ష్యంతో వచ్చాం. ఏజెంట్ విడుదలైన తర్వాత అఖిల్ స్పాన్ డిఫరెంట్ గా వుంటుంది. 

స్పై సినిమాలు చేసినప్పుడు హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాలతో పోలికలు వస్తాయి కదా ? దిన్ని ఎలా చూస్తారు ? 

జేమ్స్ బాండ్ సినిమాతో పోలిక పెడితే నాకు ఆనందమే.(నవ్వుతూ) పోలిక పెట్టుకున్నా ఫర్వాలేదు. ఆ స్థాయికి రీచ్ అయ్యామంటే మనం గెలిచినట్లే. 

ఏజెంట్ ఎలా వుండబోతుంది ? 

ఏజెంట్ యాక్షన్ ఫిల్మ్. కథ భిన్నంగా వుంటుంది. ముగ్గురు ఏజెంట్స్ మధ్య జరిగే కథ. ఎమోషన్స్ కూడా బలంగా వుంటాయి. అఖిల్ కి..  బిఫోర్ ఏజెంట్, ఆఫ్టర్ ఏజెంట్ లా వుంటుంది. విజువల్స్ చాలా గ్రాండ్ గా వుంటాయి. ఆశ్చర్యపరుస్తాయి. గొప్ప థియేటర్ ఎక్స్ పీరియన్స్ ఇచ్చే చిత్రం ఏజెంట్. 

యాక్షన్ సినిమాల్లో హీరో రియల్ స్టంట్స్ చేసేటప్పుడు నిర్మాతగా ఒక భయం వుంటుంది కదా.. ఏజెంట్ విషయంలో మీరు ఎలాంటి సూచనలు చేశారు ? 

యంగ్ హీరోలు డూప్ లేకుండా చేయడానికి ఇష్టపడుతున్నారు. ఒక నిర్మాతగా సేఫ్టీ చూసుకోమని యాక్షన్ కోరియోగ్రఫర్ కి చెప్తాను. మొన్న విజయవాడలో జరిగిన స్టంట్ కి మాత్రం వద్దు అని చెప్పాను. అది హైదరాబాద్ లో అయితే మంచి యాక్షన్ మాస్టర్స్, భద్రత వుంటుందనేది నా ఆలోచన. అఖిల్ మాత్రం అక్కడే చేయాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నాడు. ఈ విషయంలో క్రెడిట్ అంతా అఖిల్ దే. ఏజెంట్ లో అలాంటి చాలా సాహసాలు ప్రేక్షకులు చూస్తారు.

స్పై క్యారెక్టర్ సీరియస్ గా ఉంటుందా ? లేదా ఫన్ ఉంటుందా ? 

ఏజెంట్ క్యారెక్టర్ లో ఫన్ వుంటుంది. ట్రైలర్ లో చూసే వుంటారు. ప్రతీది ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తుంటాడు.

మీరు చాలా బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ సినిమాలని డిస్ట్రిబ్యుషన్ చేశారు.. కానీ ఏజెంట్ ని ఒక్కరికే ఇచ్చేయడానికి కారణం ? 

సమయానికి రిలీజ్ కావాలి, క్యాలిటీ రావాలి.. ఇలా చాలా వుంటాయి. ఒక్కరికి ఇచ్చేస్తే ఆర్ధికపరమైన ఒత్తిడి కూడా వుండదు. 

మీరు సక్సెస్ ఫుల్ బిజినెస్ మ్యాన్ .. సినిమాని బిజినెస్ లా చూస్తారా ? లేదా ప్యాషన్ తో చూస్తారా? 

బిజినెస్ గా చూడాలని అనుకుంటాను. చివరి నిమిషానికి మాత్రం సినిమా హిట్ కావాలని అనుకుంటాను(నవ్వుతూ).  పది కోట్లు కావాలా? సూపర్ హిట్ కావాలా అని నిర్మాతకి అడిగితే.. సినిమా సూపర్ హిట్ కావాలనే కోరుకుంటాడు. అలా అని హిట్ అయిన ప్రతి సినిమాకి డబ్బులు వస్తాయని కూడా చెప్పలేం. 

దర్శకుడు సురేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు కోవిడ్ బారిన పడినపుడు మీ స్టేట్ ఆఫ్ మైండ్ ఎలా వుండేది ? 

ఆయనతో మాట్లాడినపుడు సీరియస్ నెస్ అర్దమైయింది. బూడపెస్ట్ లో ఆయన వున్న చోటా అన్నీ ప్రభుత్వ హాస్పిటల్స్. అందరినీ ఒక రూమ్ లో పడేశారు. ఒకొక్కరుగా చనిపోతున్నారు. నిన్న బెడ్ పక్కన చూసిన వాడు ఈ రోజు వుండటం లేదు. రేపు మనకీ అదే జరగోచ్చు అనే ఫీలింగ్ వచ్చినపుడు .. అది ఊహించడానికే భయానకంగా వుంటుంది. 

సురేందర్ రెడ్డిగారిని ఒక నిర్మాతగా చేసుకోవడానికి కారణం ? 

ఏజెంట్ డిఫరెంట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్స్. ఆయనే కలుస్తానని అడిగారు.

దర్శకత్వం చేసే ఆలోచనలు ఉన్నాయా ? 

చేస్తున్నానండీ. స్పై జోనర్ సినిమా వుంటుంది. 

‘ఏజెంట్’ టైటిల్ మీకోసం దాచుకున్నదేనా ? 

ఏజెంట్ టైటిల్ ని ఐదేళ్ళ క్రితమే రిజిస్టర్ చేశాను. సురేందర్ రెడ్డి గారితో సినిమా అన్నప్పుడు ఆయన ఇదే టైటిల్ పెట్టారు. ఈ టైటిల్ ఆల్రెడీ మనం రిజిస్టర్ చేశామని చెప్పాను( నవ్వుతూ) 

మీ బ్యానర్ లో చిన్న, పెద్ద సినిమాలు చేస్తున్నారు కదా.. ఏది ఎక్కువ కంఫర్ట్ వుంటుంది ? 

దేని కంఫర్ట్ దానికి వుంటుంది. పెద్ద సినిమా హిట్ అయితే బ్రాండ్ వాల్యూ పెరుగుతుంది. ఆర్ధికంగా చిన్న సినిమాలు బెటర్.

నిర్మాతగా ఏజెంట్ మీకు ఎలాంటి అనుభవాన్ని ఇచ్చింది ? 

ఏజెంట్ డిఫరెంట్ ఎక్స్ పీరియన్స్. చాలా ఒత్తిడిలో విడుదల చేస్తున్న సినిమా ఇది. ఒక డేట్ ని లాక్ చేసి ఎలాగైనా ఆ డేట్ లో రావాలని అనుకున్నాం. ఆ డేట్ కోసం గత నెల రోజులుగా డే అండ్ నైట్ కష్టపడ్డాం.

Ramabanan Team Press Meet Held Grandly

 Ramabanam is a proper mix of entertainment, sentiment and action meant for fans and family crowds: Ramabanan team at press meet

Ramabanam, produced by People Media Factory, directed by Sriwass, is all set to hit the screens on May 5. The film features Gopichand, Jagapathi Babu, Dimple Hayathi, Khushbu, Khushbu, Sachin Khedekar, Nasser, Ali, Raja Ravindra, Vennela Kishore, Saptagiri, Kashi Vishwanath, Satya, Getup Srinu, Sameer, and Tarun Arora. With a promise to offer a wholesome cinematic experience, the film has all the essential commercial ingredients, with music by Mickey J Meyer.

Ahead of its release, the team came together for a press meet today. “I thank the producers for okaying this script and making it on a huge scale. After Loukyam and Lakshyam, we were keen on working on a family entertainer and both of us liked Bhupathi Raja’s story immensely. Madhu, Abburi Ravi chipped in with the script and Dimple Hayathi did a fantastic job. We’re thrilled with the response for the songs, we’ll meet you in theatres,” Gopichand said.

“Many are eager to see me and Gopichand team up on a film again and it gave us all the necessary motivation. We’re confident of giving audiences something better than Lakshyam and Loukyam and it was possible only because of the script and the hard work of the team. People Media Factory spent lavishly on the film. The interval and climax are the major highlights. The second half will be a feast for family audiences. I thank the cinematographer, and art director,” Sriwass shared.

“The songs and the background score are an asset to the film which has great dialogues and a terrific story by Bhupathi Raja. Prawin Pudi’s crisp edits helped the film. Dimple Hayathi plays a substantial role in the film and Khushbu-Gopichand’s emotional scenes are true tear-jerkers. Jagapathi Babu has performed well too. The film is a proper mix of entertainment, sentiment and action and it’ll entertain family audiences,” the filmmaker added.

Dimple Hayathi expressed her happiness in being part of the third collaboration between Gopichand and Sriwass. “I’ll be seen as Bhairavi in the film and I hope you all like her and she entertains you. You will enjoy the film in theatres,” she stated.

Co-producer Vivek Kuchibhotla mentioned that Ramabanam is ideal for family viewing this summer and said Gopichand’s action sequences will be a feast for viewers. “I thank Gopichand and Sriwass for their efforts. Mickey J Meyer has come up with a fantastic album. I’m sure it’ll do well at the box office,” he averred.

Writer Madhu promised a new twist to a sibling drama with Ramabanam. “The film is a perfect entertainer with all the ingredients in the right mix. Audiences will enjoy it and we can’t wait for May 5 already.”

Speaking on the occasion, director Teja Kakumanu says “Everyone here knows me as an actor. I thank my directors for my acting opportunities and now I thank my actors for this direction opportunity. I started my career in the direction department and worked in all the films directed by Pradeep Advaitham Anna. He insisted that I direct this film with a story written by him. I’ll always be grateful to him. I also thank Mahi V Raghav garu for accepting my directorial debut. We have very talented actors and so it was easy to work with him. I thank my heroines Pavani, Jordar Sujatha, Devayani on this occasion. I specially thank all technicians of this film. It’s because of them I could finish it in a year, so effortlessly”

Cinematographer Vishweshwar says, “I have a long journey of friendship with Pradeep. Beyond our roles, we’re very good friends. We’ve faced many hurdles since we started the discussion of this project. We even faced budget issues yet we could make it this far to Hotstar. We enjoyed the shoot. I thank Pradeep, Mahi for the opportunity. Director Teja is like my brother and I thank him for believing in me”

Music Director Ajay says, “I have known Pradeep for a long while. I haven’t enjoyed scoring Background Music for this film like no other. I personally like Abhinav and Rohini track in this film”

Editor Shravan says, “I used to edit the content alone and laughed my heart out to every story. I personally like Darshi’s episodes from this series. Everyone can relate to the content and may also feel that it’s their biopic. I’m sure about its success”

Hero Chaitanya Krishna says “Whenever someone tells me a story, they just tell me the part of my role. But Pradeep sent me the entire script. I started loving it right from the first episode. It’s Top class writing. Women are the upper hand in every home today, they’re powerful in all ways. This series shows the drama very hilariously. Unlike other series that mostly get restricted to the thriller genre, this one’s a full-on entertainer.

We enjoyed alot in the shot gaps on sets. All the schedules were planned smoothly and went well. I personally like Priyadarshi, Sujatha track more whereas Krishna and Devayani’s track is too honest”

Heroine Pavani says, “I personally like Priyadarshi, Sujatha episodes. Also, the track between Abhinav and Rohini is hilarious. We’ve connected to each other like a family with this series. We got an amazing response at the preview. I’m happy to be part of this wonderful series”

 Ravi Teja Launched The Teaser Of RT Teamworks, Frame By Frame Pictures, Satish Varma’s Changure Bangaru Raja

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja established RT Teamworks to make content-rich movies with young and talented filmmakers. RT Teamworks’ latest production “Changure Bangaru Raja” teaser was launched by Ravi Teja who produced the movie in association with Frame by Frame Pictures. The movie is directed by Satish Varma. Swetha Kakarlapudi and Shalini Nambu are the creative producers of the movie.

Karthik Rathnam of ‘C/O Kancharapalem’ and ‘Naarappa’ fame is one of the leads, while Goldie Nissy is the female lead. Ravi Babu and Satya are the other lead cast of the movie. Going by the teaser the story of the movie revolves around these three characters.

The teaser begins with the introduction of a dog for which Sunil gave voice. The dog explains how its life turned upside down after meeting three people in an accident. Karthik, Satya and Ravi Babu are in love with three different girls. But they are arrested as suspects in a murder case. Who is the murderer, one among these or the outsider?

The teaser creates curiosity with its hilarious and gripping narration. Satish Varma picked a fresh genre of crime in the comedy entertainer. Karthik, Satya and Ravi Babu trio played their parts well. Sunil’s voiceover is an add-on.

Sundar NC handled the cinematography, while Krishna Saurabh provided the music. Karthik Vunnava is the editor of the movie for which dialogues were penned by Janardhan Pasumarthi.

'Vimanam' makers invite audience to share their first flight experience & win gifts

 'Vimanam' makers invite audience to share their first flight experience & win gifts

The bilingual will hit the screens on June 9, 2023

'Vimanam', the upcoming Telugu-Tamil release, stars versatile artist Samuthirakani as Veerayya, a differently-abled middle-aged single parent. Zee Studios and Kiran Korrapati Creative Works have floated an interesting contest.

We all are thrilled about flight journeys. Our first flight experience is always a memory of a lifetime. Ironically, 'Vimanam' director Siva Prasad Yanala didn't fly even once till the project happened to him. He got to travel on a flight for the first time only during the making of the film. "I had to travel to Chennai and didn't know how to board the flight, where to ask queries in the airport, etc... Zee Studios deployed someone who would capture my first experience. It made me nervous that my first airport visit would be filmed," the director says.

"When I first saw the plane from a close range, I was extremely delighted. It was a mix of surprise, awe and excitement to fly. When I think of the unique experience of my flight journey, it makes me happy," the director says.

The makers have invited the audience to share their first flight experience in the form of a video or picture. You can tag @VimanamTheFilm by using the hashtag #MyFirstVimanam. The participants will be in for a surprise gift.

 ఈ సినిమా థాట్‌ మైండ్‌లోకి ఎలా వచ్చింది?

- సినిమాలో దెయ్యం ఉండదు. అలా ఉన్నట్టు అనిపిస్తుంది. నేను ఈ జోనర్‌కి చిన్నప్పటి నుంచీ పెద్ద ఫ్యాన్‌. ఈ జోనర్‌లో ఈ మధ్యకాలంలో హారర్‌ కామెడీలు వస్తున్నాయే తప్ప, స్ట్రిక్ట్ హారర్‌ మూవీస్‌ రావడం లేదనిపించింది. అందుకే తీద్దామనిపించి తీశా. 2016, 2017లో ఓ పేపర్‌లో ఆర్టికల్‌ చదివా. గుజరాత్ లో ఓ మహిళ చేతబడి చేస్తుందన్న అనుమానంతో ఓ చెట్టుకు కట్టేసి రాళ్లతో కొట్టి చంపేశారు. అప్పుడు నాకు అనిపించింది. ఈ కథ రాద్దామని. నిజంగా ఆమెకు చేతబడి వచ్చి ఉంటే, వారందరూ చచ్చిపోయేవారేమో అనిపించింది.

సుకుమార్‌ ఈ సినిమా చూసి ఏమన్నారు?

- సుకుమార్‌గారు నిన్న నైట్‌ కాల్‌ చేశారు. ఆయన చాలా హ్యాపీగా ఉన్నారు. చాలా ప్రౌడ్‌గా ఉన్నారు.

 సాయిధరమ్‌తేజ్‌ని ఎంపిక చేసుకోవడానికి కారణం ఏంటి?

- సుకుమార్‌గారి దగ్గరకు వెళ్లడానికి ముందు చాలా చిన్న స్పాన్‌లో అనుకున్నాను. కానీ ఆయన కథ విన్న తర్వాత సాయితేజ్‌, ప్రసాద్‌గారిని ఆయన డిసైడ్‌ చేశారు. అక్కడి నుంచి అందరం కలెక్టివ్‌ డిసిషన్‌ తీసుకున్నాం.  నా డ్రాఫ్ట్ అయ్యాక సుకుమార్‌గారి దగ్గరకు వెళ్లాక 6,7 వెర్షన్లు స్క్రీన్‌ప్లేకి చేశాం. కథ మారలేదు కానీ, ట్రీట్‌మెంట్‌ మారుతూ ఉండేది. అన్ని వెర్షన్లు రాసి బెస్ట్ చూజ్‌ చేసుకున్నాం.

*నందిని కేరక్టర్‌కి సంయుక్తమీనన్‌ని సెలక్ట్ చేసిందెవరు?

- సంయుక్తని నేనే సెలక్ట్ చేశా. తెలుగుకి ఒకట్రెండు సినిమాల అనుభవం ఉన్న అమ్మాయి అయితే బావుంటుందని అనుకున్నాం. సంయుక్త ఈ కేరక్టర్‌ని బాగా చేస్తారని అనుకున్నాం. రవిని మా ఏడీ సజెస్ట్ చేశాడు. ఆడిషన్‌లో రవి చాలా బాగా చేశాడు. వెంటనే ఓకే చేశాం.

 మీ కథలో సుకుమార్‌గారు చేసిన చేంజెస్‌ ఏంటి?

- క్లైమాక్స్ లో ఆడియన్స్ థ్రిల్‌ అయిన విషయాలు సుకుమార్‌గారు చేసిన మార్పులే. హారర్‌ అంటే దెయ్యాలే కాదు. మనకు వెన్నులో చలి పుట్టించేది ప్రతిదీ హారరే. ఆడియన్స్ కి కొత్తగా చూపించాలనే  ఉద్దేశంతో  ఈ సినిమాలో మర్డర్లు కూడా కొత్తగా డిజైన్‌ చేశాం. 

ఫస్ట్ టైమ్‌ డైరక్టర్‌ అన్నట్టు కాకుండా, ఎక్స్ పీరియన్డ్స్ గా ఎలా తీశారు?

- కార్తికేయ ఒన్‌లో రాశాను. భమ్‌బోళేనాథ్‌ అని ఓ సినిమా డైరక్ట్ చేశా.  కొన్ని రివ్యూస్‌లో డైరక్టర్‌గా నేను ప్రూవ్‌ అయ్యానే తప్ప, కమర్షియల్‌గా వర్కవుట్‌ కాలేదు. 2015-16లో వచ్చింది ఆ సినిమా.

నందిని, విరూపాక్ష, రుద్రవనం... అనే పేర్లు పెట్టడానికి రీజనేంటి?

- శివుడి వాహనం నంది. అందుకే నందిని అని పెట్టాం. రుద్రవనం, విరూపాక్ష కూడా శివుడితాలూకు పేర్లే. చీకటిలో ఉండిపోయిన విలేజ్‌కి వెలుగులా వచ్చాడు అని హీరోకి సూర్య అని పేరు పెట్టా.  

 కమల్‌కామరాజు ఎపిసోడ్‌లో బ్లాక్‌ మ్యాజిక్‌ని సపోర్ట్ చేశారా?

- నేను సపోర్ట్ చేయలేదు. కాకపోతే ఒకవేళ అలాంటివి ఉంటే ఏంటి? అనే థాట్‌ నుంచి పుట్టిందే కథ. ఆడియన్స్ ని థ్రిల్‌ చేసి క్యూరియస్‌గా ఉంచాలనే ఈ సినిమా చేశా. చందమామ కథల్లో కనిపించిన థ్రిల్‌ ఉండాలని చేశా.

సాయితేజ్‌కి బైక్‌ యాక్సిడెంట్‌ అయినప్పుడు... మీ థాట్‌ ప్రాసెస్‌ ఎలా ఉంది?

- నా తొలి సినిమా పెద్దగా ఆడలేదు. అందుకే రైటింగ్‌లోనూ, మేకింగ్‌లోనూ నిలబడిపోవాలని అనుకున్నా. 2018వరకు నేను నమ్మిన కథకు అవకాశం రాలేదు. దానికి కారణం, అప్పట్లో నేను కథ రాసుకున్నప్పుడు వేరే బడ్జెట్‌ ఉండేది. అప్పుడు నిర్మాతలు నన్ను నమ్మలేదు. ఆ టైమ్‌లో నన్ను నమ్మింది సుకుమార్‌గారే. డైరక్టర్‌ ప్యాషన్‌, స్కిల్స్ అర్థం చేసుకోగలుగుతారనే నమ్మకం కలిగింది. నా నమ్మకం నిజమైంది. కథ ఆయనకు నచ్చింది. అందుకే స్క్రీన్‌ప్లేని ఆయన కూర్చుని మార్చారు. 

మా కథకు  నాలుగేళ్లు... కరోనా కూడా బ్రేక్‌ వేసింది. అంతా కంప్లీట్‌ అయి సినిమా స్టార్ట్ చేయాలనుకున్నాం. ముందురోజు అందరం కలిసి కూర్చున్నాం. అందరం ఫోన్లు సైలెంట్‌లోనో, వైబ్రేషన్‌ మోడలోనో పెట్టాం. షెడ్యూల్ డిస్కస్‌ చేస్తున్నాం. ఒకేసారి అన్ని ఫోన్లు రింగ్‌ అయ్యాయి. సెకన్ల గ్యాప్‌లో అన్నీ మోగుతున్నాయి. ఆఫీస్‌ బోయ్‌ డోర్‌ ఓపెన్‌ చేసుకుని లోపలికి వచ్చి 'ఒకసారి అర్జెంటుగా టీవీ పెట్టండి' అని అన్నారు. న్యూస్‌లో హీరోగారికి యాక్సిడెంట్‌ అని వచ్చింది. 22 రోజులు సాయిధరమ్‌తేజ్‌ హాస్పిటల్‌లో ఉన్నారు. నేను ఫిజికల్‌గా తిరుగుతున్నానేగానీ, నేను కూడా కోమాలోనే ఉన్నా. 

హాస్పిటల్‌ నుంచి... ఆయన సేఫ్‌గానే ఉన్నారు. త్వరలోనే లేచి తిరుగుతారు అని చెప్పిన తర్వాత రిలీఫ్‌ అయ్యాను. అప్పుడు ఆ టైమ్‌ని మేకింగ్‌లో ఇంకా బెటర్‌గా ఏం చేయొచ్చో అని ఆలోచించి చేశాం. ఫుల్‌ మూవీకి స్టోరీ బోర్డ్ వేసుకున్నాం.

సాయి నుంచి యాక్టింగ్‌ రాబట్టుకోవడం ఎలా అనిపించింది?

- ముందు మూడు రోజులు షెడ్యూల్‌ వేసుకున్నాం. అప్పుడు కాస్త వీక్‌గా ఉన్నారు. చాలా సన్నగా అయ్యారు. 3 రోజులు ఆయన చాలా ఇబ్బందిపడ్డారు. రషెస్‌ చూసుకున్నారు. సెకండ్‌ షెడ్యూల్‌కి ఇంకా 10 రోజులుంది కదా.. . అని స్పీచ్‌ తెరపీ, డ్యాన్సు క్లాసులు అన్నీ చేసుకుని వచ్చారు. సెకండ్‌ షెడ్యూల్‌లో... అంటే, నాలుగో రోజు షూటింగ్‌కి చాలా నార్మల్‌గా వచ్చారు. 

లాక్‌ డౌన్‌ వంటి మార్పులు కరోనా వచ్చాక చేశారా? ముందే రాసుకున్నారా?

- ముందే రాసుకున్నా. 2017కి స్క్రిప్ట్ లాక్‌ చేశాం. కరోనాలో ప్రొడ్యూసర్లు, హీరో అందరూ  ప్రపంచానికే అష్టదిగ్బంధనం వేశావా అని నాతో సరదాగా అన్నారు. ఎల్జీ పాలిమర్స్ ఇన్సిడెంట్‌ జరిగినప్పుడు కూడా అందరూ నాకు ఫోన్లు చేశారు.

కరోనా టైమ్‌లో చాలా ఊళ్లు అష్టదిగ్భందనం చేసుకున్నారు. కరోనా వచ్చాక ఎన్ని బాధలు పడ్డా నాకు హాయిగా అనిపించింది ఏంటంటే, జనాలకు కాస్త ఈజీగా నా కాన్సెప్ట్ అర్థమవుతుంది అన్నదే.

 ఈ టైప్‌ జోనర్లకి సెలక్టివ్‌ ఆడియన్స్ ఉంటారు.. అందరికీ రీచ్‌ అవుతామని మీకు అనిపించడానికి కారణమేంటి? మీకు అందిన బెస్ట్ కాంప్లిమెంట్‌ ఏంటి?

- హారర్‌ జోనర్‌కి సెలక్టివ్‌ ఆడియన్స్ అనడం కన్నా, వైడ్‌ రేంజ్‌ ఆడియన్సే ఉన్నారు. హారర్‌ సినిమాలను చాలా మంది ఇష్టపడతారు. ఇంట్లో లేడీస్‌, పిల్లలు ఎక్కువగా హారర్‌, థ్రిల్లర్‌ ఫిల్మ్స్ ఇష్టపడతారన్నది నా అనుభవంతో తెలుసుకున్న సినిమా. చంద్రముఖిలాంటి సినిమాలు అంత హిట్‌ కావడం అందుకే. మిగిలిన ఎమోషన్స్ ని రియల్‌ లైఫ్‌లో ఇష్టపడతాం. కానీ, హారర్‌ని మాత్రమే మనం స్క్రీన్‌ మీద చూస్తాం. మిగిలిన దేన్నీ మనం రియల్‌ లైఫ్లో చూడం. 

సక్సెస్‌ వచ్చాక హీరో రవితేజగారు చాలా బాగా మెచ్చుకున్నారు. కల్యాణ్‌రామ్‌గారు టీజర్‌ వచ్చినప్పటి నుంచే మెచ్చుకుంటున్నారు. 

ఈ సినిమా అరుంధతి, చంద్రముఖి మిక్స్ అని అన్నారు. మీరేమంటారు?

- కథా పరంగా కాదు. కానీ, సక్సెస్‌ పరంగా ఆ రెండు సినిమాలకూ మిక్స్ అని నమ్ముతా. 

అదర్‌ లాంగ్వేజెస్‌లో ఏమైనా రిలీజ్‌ చేస్తున్నారా?

- కాంతార ఫార్మేట్‌ని ఫాలో అవుతాం. ఇక్కడ మౌత్‌ టాక్‌ స్ప్రెడ్‌ అయ్యాక, మిగిలిన భాషల్లో రిలీజ్‌ చేస్తాం. రెండు వారాల తర్వాత రిలీజ్‌ చేస్తే ఇంకా రీచ్‌ ఎక్కువగా ఉంటుంది. తెలుగు వెర్షన్‌ షోస్‌ బెంగుళూరులో ఇంకా పెరుగుతున్నాయి. 

 నెక్స్ట్ సినిమా ఏంటి?

- నాకు 2,3 ఐడియాలున్నాయి. ఈ జర్నీలోనే సుకుమార్‌గారూ, నేనూ ఇంకో ఐడియా డిస్కస్‌ చేశాం. ఆయనకు కూడా నచ్చింది. నేను ఏ సినిమా చేసినా, నా స్ట్రెంగ్త్ హారర్‌, థ్రిల్లర్‌. 

మీ ఫ్యామిలీ బ్యాక్‌గ్రౌండ్‌ ఏంటి?

- వైజాగ్‌లో పెరిగాను. నేను ప్లస్‌ టూలో ఉండగా నాన్న చనిపోయారు. అమ్మ పెంచారు. నేను ఇండస్ట్రీకి వచ్చినప్పుడు నా తమ్ముడు కువైట్‌ వెళ్లి నాకు సపోర్ట్ చేశాడు. సుకుమార్‌గారు ఈ సినిమాను ఓకే చేయగానే, మా తమ్ముడు రిజైన్‌ చేసి వచ్చేశాడు. 

ఏ నిర్మాత అడ్వాన్స్ ఇచ్చారు? ఎవరు కాల్‌ చేశారు? 

ఈ సినిమా చూసి ఇండస్ట్రీ లో దిల్‌రాజుగారి నుంచీ చాలా మంది నిర్మాతలు చేశారు. నేనింకా ఎవరి దగ్గరా అడ్వాన్సులు తీసుకోలేదు.

‘ఏజెంట్’ లో మీ పాత్ర  గురించి చెప్పండి ? 

ఇందులో నేను ‘రా’ ఏజెంట్ పాత్ర పోషించాను. అయితే వ్యవస్థలో తనకు జరిగిన ద్రోహం కారణంగా వ్యవస్థ కు ఎదురుతిగి, వ్యవస్థపై పగ తీర్చుకునే పాత్ర ఇది. తను ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ తీసుకున్న పవర్ ఫుల్ ఏజెంట్. కానీ తనకు జరిగిన ద్రోహం కారణంగా ఈవిల్ గా మారిపోతాడు. తనలో చాలా మ్యాడ్ నెస్ వుంటుంది. సురేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు ఈ పాత్రని చాలా అద్భుతంగా డిజైన్ చేశారు. నా పాత్రలో చాలా ఎమోషన్, డ్రామా వుంటుంది. 

ఏజెంట్ కథ విన్నప్పుడు ఎలా అనిపించింది ? 

ఏజెంట్ కథ విన్నప్పుడే చాలా నచ్చేసింది. తెలుగులోకి రావడానికి ఇదే బెస్ట్ స్క్రిప్ట్ అని  నిర్ణయించుకున్నాను. కథ చాలా ఆసక్తికరంగా వుంటుంది. ఇది ముగ్గురు ఏజెంట్స్ కథ. ఇందులో నేను విలన్ గా మారడానికి కూడా ఒక కారణం వుంటుంది. కథలో చాలా ప్రాధన్యత వున్న పాత్ర. 

ఇరవై ఏళ్ల క్రితం ‘ప్రియరాలు పిలిచింది’ సినిమాలో మమ్ముట్టి గారితో కలసి పని చేశారు. మళ్ళీ ఇన్నాళ్ళుకు ఆయనతో కలసి చేయడం ఎలా అనిపించింది ?

మమ్ముట్టి గారితో పని చేయడం గొప్ప అనుభూతి.  ఆయన్ని సెట్స్ లో అలా చూస్తూ వుంటాను. ఇందులో ఆయనికి ఎదురుతిరిగే పాత్ర చేశాను. అది పెద్ద సవాల్ గా అనిపించిది. నా బెస్ట్ ఇవ్వడానికి ప్రయత్నించాను. ఆయన అప్పటికి ఇప్పటికి ఏం మారలేదు. ఆయన్ని మొదటిసారి బుడాపెస్ట్ లో కలిసినప్పుడు దుల్కర్ కంటే యంగ్ గా కనిపించారు. ఇదే విషయం ఆయనకి చెబితే నవ్వేశారు. నా వరకూ.. ఆయన నా టీచర్ నేను ఆయన స్టూడెంట్ ని.  

ఏజెంట్ లో మీ పాత్ర పేరు ఏమిటి ? 

ఇందులో నా పాత్ర పేరు గాడ్. ఏదైనా చేయగలిగే పవర్ ఫుల్  పాత్ర అది. తను వ్యవస్థపై, ఆ వ్యవస్థని క్రియేట్ చేసిన బాస్ పై రివెంజ్ తీసుకోవాలని చూస్తుంటాడు. 

మీ పాత్ర ‘పఠాన్’ లో జాన్ అబ్రహం పాత్రకు సిమిలర్ గా వుందనిపిస్తుంది ? 

విచిత్రంగా పఠాన్ కూడా ముగ్గురు ఏజెంట్స్ కి సంబధించిన కథ. వారికంటే ముందే మేము షూటింగ్ స్టార్ట్ చేశాం. మా కథ ముందే తయారైయింది. ఏజెంట్ కథకి ‘పఠాన్’ కథతో పోలిక లేదు. రెండు వేరు వేరు. మా సినిమాలో డిఫరెంట్ ములుపులు వుంటాయి. కథ భిన్నంగా వుంటుంది. ఏజెంట్ గేమ్... డిఫరెంట్ అండ్ టెర్రిఫిక్.

ఏజెంట్ లో గాడ్ పాత్ర కోసం స్పెషల్ గా హోమ్ వర్క్ చేశారా ? 

కొన్ని మ్యాడ్ క్యారెక్టర్స్ ని చూశాను. నో ప్లేస్ ఫర్ ఓల్డ్ మెన్ తో పాటు మరికొన్ని హాలీవుడ్ సినిమాలు చూశాను. అలాగే విక్రమ్ లో రోలెక్స్ పాత్రని పరిశీలించాను. నా పాత్రలో కూడా మ్యాడ్ నెస్ వుంటుంది. నేను ఎంత హోమ్ వర్క్ చేసిన సురేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు ఇంకా ఎక్కువ కావాలి అని అడిగేవారు. ఇందులో ప్రతిది లౌడ్ లార్జ్ ఎక్సయిటింగా వుంటుంది. 

హీరోయిన్ సాక్షి వైద్య గురించి ? 

సాక్షి చాలా బ్యూటీఫుల్. తను చాలా చక్కగా నటించింది. తనకు చాలా మంచి భవిష్యత్ వుంటుంది. 

తెలుగు భాషతో మీకు పరిచయం లేదు. తెలియని భాషలో సినిమాలు చేయడం కొంచెం కష్టంతో కూడుకున్న పని. ఏజెంట్ ని ఎంపిక చేసుకోవడం వెనుక కారణం ఏమిటి ?

నేను కేవలం కథే చూస్తాను. కథ బావుంటే ఒప్పుకుంటాను. ఏజెంట్ విషయానికి వస్తే కథ, నా పాత్ర రెండూ నచ్చాయి. పైగా ఏకే ప్రొడక్షన్ హౌస్, దర్శకుడు సురేందర్ రెడ్డి.. ఎన్నో విజయాలు అందించారు. మమ్ముట్టి గారు, అఖిల్.. ఇలా అద్భుతమైన టీంతో కలసి పనిచేసే అవకాశం అరుదుగా వస్తుంది. 

మనకు పని పరిచయం లేని భాషలో పని చేయడం ఒక ఛాలెంజ్. ఏజెంట్ లో నా డైలాగులుని రెండు రోజులు ముందే అడిగి డే అండ్ నైట్ ప్రాక్టిస్ చేసేవాడిని. అయితే షాట్ రెడీ అన్నప్పుడు డైరెక్టర్ డైలాగ్స్ మార్చేస్తున్నా అనేవారు(నవ్వుతూ). షూటింగ్ చాలా ఫన్ అండ్ అడ్వెంచర్ గా సాగింది. 

ఏజెంట్ షూటింగ్ లో మీకు ఎదురైనా అనుభవాలు ఏమిటి ? 

దర్శకుడు సురేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు డెడ్లీ లుక్ కావాలని అడిగారు. నాలుగు లేయర్ల కాస్ట్యూమ్స్ తో అద్భుతంగా కుదిరింది. బుడాపెస్ట్ చలిలో పని చేయడం చాలా సౌకర్యంగా అనిపించింది. తర్వాత కొన్ని యాక్షన్ సీన్లు మస్కట్  ఎడారి లో షూట్ చేశాం. 40 డిగ్రీల వేడి. లెదర్ జాకెట్ , హెవీ మెటిరియాల్ లాంగ్ కోట్  ధరించి షూట్ చేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. లోపల నుంచి చెమట బూట్లు నుంచి బయటికి వచ్చేది. అదొక హారిబుల్ ఫీలింగ్. చాలా క్రేజీ. అయితే ఆ కష్టానికి తగిన ఫలితం దొరుకుతుందనే నమ్మ్మకం వుంది. 

ఏజెంట్ కి ముందు అఖిల్ గురించి తెలుసా ? 

రామ్ చరణ్ నా ఫ్రెండ్. ఆయన ద్వారా అఖిల్ ని ఒకసారి కలిశాను. అప్పటికి ఆయన చాలా యంగ్ లిటిల్ బాయ్ లా కనిపించారు. కానీ ఏజంట్ సెట్ లో అఖిల్ ని చూసి ఆశ్చర్యపోయాను. చాలా అద్భుతంగా కనిపించాడు. చాలా హార్డ్ వర్క్ చేశాడు. తన లుక్ మొత్తం మార్చేశాడు.  తన డెడికేషన్ కి హ్యాట్సాఫ్. 

తెలుగు లో మరిన్ని సినిమాలు చేయాలని ఉందా ? 

నేను అన్నిటికి ఓపెన్ గా వున్నాను. ఈ సినిమా తర్వాత మలయాళంలో డెబ్యు చేస్తున్నాను.  ఒక నటుడిగా అన్ని భాషల్లో చేయాలని వుంటుంది. ఏజెంట్ తర్వాత తెలుగులో కూడా అవకాశాలు వస్తాయని నమ్ముతున్నాను. 

ఏజెంట్ లో మిమ్మల్ని ఎవరు ఎంపిక చేశారు ? 

దర్శకుడు సురేందర్ రెడ్డి గారు. ఆయన నా ఎంపైర్ షో చూశారు. తర్వాత నిర్మాత అనిల్ గారు కూడా ఈ పాత్రకు నేను సరిగ్గా సరిపోతాని చెప్పారు.

‘ఏజెంట్’ ప్రేక్షకులకు ఎలాంటి అనుభూతిని ఇస్తుంది ?

 ‘ఏజెంట్’ స్పై థ్రిల్లర్, ముగ్గురు ఏజెంట్స్ కథ. క్యాట్ అండ్ మౌస్ చేజ్ .. రెండున్నర గంటల సినిమాని ప్రేక్షకులు ఆద్యంతం ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు. ఏజెంట్ రోలర్ కోస్టర్ రైడ్ ఎక్స్ పీరియన్స్ ని ఇస్తుంది.  మలుపులు, లార్జ్ యాక్షన్, విజువల్స్, సౌండ్ అన్నీ ప్రేక్షకులని అలరిస్తాయి. 

వరంగల్ ఈవెంట్ కి హాజరయ్యారు కదా.. ఎలా అనిపించింది ? 

ఇది చాలా కొత్త అనుభూతిని ఇచ్చింది. మేము హిందీ సినిమాల్లో కూడా ఈవెంట్స్ చేస్తాము. బయటికి వెళ్తాం. కానీ ఇక్కడ అభిమానులు లాయల్టీ అద్భుతం. అభిమానిస్తే ప్రాణం ఇచ్చేస్తారు. అలాగే లాయల్టీని మార్చుకోరు. ఇది చాలా గొప్ప విషయం.  

ఏజెంట్ ట్రైలర్ విడుదలైన తర్వాత మీ అందుకున్న బెస్ట్ కాంప్లీమెంట్ ? 

షూటింగ్ లో ఉన్నప్పుడే నాకు బిగ్గెస్ట్ కాంప్లీమెంట్ మమ్ముట్టి గారి నుంచి వచ్చింది. డైరెక్టర్ కట్ చెప్పిన తర్వాత మమ్ముట్టి గారు నన్ను చూసి.. ‘’ఫెంటాస్టిక్.. చాలా అద్భుతంగా చేశావు’’  అన్నారు. ఆ మాటలని ఎవరైనా రికార్డ్ చేసివుంటే బావుండేదని పించింది. ఇది లైఫ్ టైమ్ మెమరీ.

While Hip Hop Tamizha scored the music for the movie, this special song was scored by the latest sensation Bheems Ceciroleo who is one of those composers who gets the pulse of the audience and music lovers.

Wild Saala is one such example as he gets the dance rhythms spot on. Raghuram's lyrics depict the wild nature of Agent and Sravana Bhargavi ups the ante and her style of singing truly works wonders for the song. Bheems also sang the number. Sai Madhav, Swathi Reddy UK and Amala Chebolu perform the backing vocals in the chorus. One can feel the adrenaline pumping in the song because of the orchestration. Dimple Hayathi is the female lead in Macho Hero Gopichand's next, Ramabaanam releasing on May 5th. The film brings back the blockbuster combination of Gopichand and director Sriwass once again together. Dimple spoke to the media ahead of the film.

How did you get into Rambaanam project?

I signed Rambaanam while I was doing the movie 'Khiladi'. I looked very glamorous in Kiladi. After watching Khiladi, the director Sriwaas expressed his hesitation about me playing Bhairavi. After doing the screen test twice, I was selected after being convinced that I would be suitable for the role.

What is the difference between this character and your real life?

I will be seen as an urban girl in this film. My character name is Bhairavi and she is a vlogger. In real life, I stay away from social media. So this role was new to me. It was fun lots of fun in making reels and vlogs. There are many senior artists in the film. I have to create vlogs with all of them. It will be very entertaining. Rambanam is an entertainer that entertains everyone.

How was it working with Gopichand?

Gopichand speaks very little. He just wished Good morning, Hi, Good evening thats all I also speak less. He is very focused. If the scene is not right, it will be understood in his eyes. He speaks very composedly. Gopichand is a gentleman. Very supportive. It was a great experience working with him.

Ramabaanam has senior actors like Jagapathi Babu and Kushboo. What things did you learn from them?

In the set of 'Ramabaanam', there are always ten artists in the whole set. The set is always beautiful. After entering the set, we have a big list of artists like Jagapathi Babu, Kushboo, Ali, Vennela Kishore, Rajitha, etc. During this journey, Kushboo became like a second mother to me. We are very close. We also went on some trips while shooting this movie. They treated me like their daughter. She shared her experiences on the set. They helped me a lot. So is Jagapathi Babu. Rambanam is a great journey.

What is the advantage of being a dancer actor? How do you think you got into dancing and acting?

Many people ask me if I went to acting school. I never went to acting school. There are many dancers and actors in the house. I get more criticism from home (Laughs). Acting also came from dancing only.

Did you learn classical dance?

I didn't do anything special as an Arangetram. I learned by playing and singing. The Guinness World Record also came in the flow. They used to do some programs in Kuchipudi. Once upon a time Siliconandhra program used to be organized with thousands of dancers every year. I got a Guinness World Record for it.

What is your family background?

We are a big joint family. There are many actors and dancers. My father is a businessman. My father is a Tamilian and mother is Telugu. I was born in Vijayawada but grew up in Hyderabad.

You appeared in a glamorous role.. Now you are doing an urban girl. What kind of roles do you like to play?

As an actress one has to do all kinds of roles. As an actress, Gaddala Konda Ganesh song and iPhone song are the same for me. I will make sure that I am doing things right as an actress. I want to play such roles.

How are Telugu girls treated in the industry?

I am doing Rambaanam as my second film. Things have changed and so is the industry. Sri Leela is also a Telugu girl. We can celebrate when four more Telugu girls come as heroines. The situation has certainly changed now.

You started with a small film. Now doing films with stars. Are you happy in terms of career?

I'm just taking steps. There is still a lot to prove. I can answer this question after ten years.

How was it working with Sriwass?

Sriwass is a sweet person. He is very naughty (laughs) and he explains everything in great detail. He told me every detail related to my character in advance His advice and suggestions on how to do it as a vlogger helped me a lot.

How was working at People Media Factory?

Vishwaprasad and Vivek are very good people. Great producers. They have given everything needed for the film. They have a lot of clarity about the film. It was a pleasure to work in their production. I have to work once again in their production.

What are your next films?

I am doing two big films in Telugu and Tamil. Will announce soon.

Director Ajay Bhupathi's ‘RX100’ won the hearts of tollywood and even bollywood audiences too. His much anticipated next has already created quite a buzz amongst the south with its title ‘Mangalavaaram’.

Teaming up with his lucky charm actress RX100 fame Payal Rajput again, the director has now unveiled her first look as ‘Shailaja’ from his new film. Her half naked pose with a gritty emotion in her eyes and a butterfly on her finger makes the poster very interesting. It’s quite bold and emotional.

Interestingly, Ajay is debuting as a producer in this film along with Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M. It’s a joint venture of Mudra Media Works and A Creative Works releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Speaking about the engaging first look, the director-producer Ajay Bhupati said that “ 'Mangalavaaram' is a village-based action-thriller settled in 90’s. It sticks to our nativity while being Raw and Rustic to visuals and emotions. Payal’s character will be remembered for a long time after watching this movie in the theaters. It’s a new-genre film that’s never been featured in Indian Cinema. There are 30 characters in the story and every character has got a certain place in the larger scheme of the film. Each and every character is important"

Producers Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M said, "Just like Indu from RX100, Ajay Bhupati’s ‘Mangalavaaram’ Shailaja will also be remembered for a longtime. We’ve wrapped up 75 days of the shoot. Making it on high technical standards, we’re planning to wind up the last schedule of the movie next month. The concept is exciting, and the content is shaping up amazingly well. 'Kantara' fame Ajaneesh Loknath has been roped in to compose music."

After Vijay Deverakonda unveiled the trailer digitally, the makers of Ilaiyaraaja’s multi-lingual musical ‘Music School’ have dropped the trailer in the presence of the cast and crew in Mumbai. 

Attended by director and producer Paparao Biyyala, Shriya Saran, Sharman Joshi, Gracy Goswami, Ozu Barua amongst others, the trailer launch event received a warm response from the audience. 

Starring Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi as music and dance teachers respectively, the trailer showcases the duo attempting to put together a musical play ‘The Sound of Music’ with the young artists including Gracy Goswami and Ozu Barua, amongst others. Depicting the struggles of a music and drama teacher to promote performing arts for children amidst the immense academic pressure subjected by the parents, teachers and society, the trailer takes the audience on a musical journey. Filled with drama, humour, emotions and music, the trailer showcases glimpses of the picturesque locations of Goa. 

Music School is a musical narration of the sensitive and prevailing concern of academic pressure subjected to young students by the society, parents and teachers. With eleven songs in the film, three of them have been recreated from The Sound of Music, situationally woven beautifully in the film to suit the sensibilities of the Indian audience. 

The makers of the film have earlier released three songs from the film- Padhte Jao Baccha, Teri Nigahon Ne, and Hichkaule. 

Directed and produced by IAS officer turned filmmaker Paparao Biyyala, the musical film employs an ace team of technicians. 

The grandeur look of the film was captured by ace cinemotographer Kiran Deohans. The cast includes Shriya Saran, Sharman Joshi and Prakash Raj in leading roles in addition to debutant Ozu Barua and Gracy Goswamy in critical roles. Other cast comprises of Benjamin Gilani, Suhasini Mulay, Mona Ambegaonkar, Leela Samson, Bugs Bhargava, Vinay Varma, Sreekanth Iyengar, Vaquar Sheikh, Phani and many other child actors. 

Presented by Yamini Films, Hyderabad, this multi-lingual  film is shot in Hindi and Telugu, and dubbed in Tamil. It is releasing on 12th May 2023 by PVR in Hindi - Tamil and Dil Raju in Telugu.

The third and final instalment from Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Guardians of the Galaxy is almost here. But before the film finally lands in theatres on May 5, fans can’t keep calm, as critics worldwide have shared warm reactions to the film. 

With 'Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3' receiving immense love and excitement from India, we couldn't help but wonder which Telugu actor could fill the boots of the characters, if Marvel Studios were re-casting and considering Telugu actors for the movie.

1. Jr NTR as Star-Lord 

If there was no minute to waste, one could cast jr NTR as Star-Lord almost immediately, if they wanted to. Not only does he have the experience of playing an action hero in his kitty, but he also has the perfect charm, potential and on-screen presence to play this funny goofball character. 

2. Tamannaah as Gamora 

Who doesn't love Gamora and her killer instinct?  Her feminine and all-powerful look is a testament to the fact that women can don action roles and be just as good. The last time Tamannaah knocked out many of the men in Babli Bouncer showcased her physical strength.

Nebula evolves from a villain to a true hero and is indeed an athletic woman and an excellent armed and unarmed combatant. Can anyone match Samantha's action avatar in The Family Man? Well, surely she is a Nebula for sure.

4. Yash as Groot (Voice)

Everyone's favourite character from the franchise has been Groot and his evolution has taken all the fans by surprise. Voiced by Vin Diesel, the only three words he speaks are ‘I am Groot’. Rocky Bhai's swag and baritone are a perfect match for Groot's character.

5. Nikhil Siddhartha as Rocket Raccoon (Voice)

As the weapons and tactical expert of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket always tries his best to save the cosmos. Rocket is the most fun character in the film. The Karthikeya actor would be the best fit for voicing this little one.

6. Rana Daggubati as Drax 

Drax The Destroyer loves to kill anyone that harms the Guardians and his subtle one-liners always cheer up an intense scene. Tollywood has its very own Drax - Rana Daggubati. Rana’s villainous role in Baahubali is still unmatched and he would indeed be the best actor to play the role of Drax.

7. Rashmika Mandanna as Mantis 

The most caring and generous person from the Guardians family is Mantis. A superheroine and ability to sense people’s feelings is Mantis’ power. Nation’s love for Rashmika with her charming and bubbly personality is definitely ruling over many hearts.

Now KJR Studios Kotapadi J Rajesh has officially confirmed that the film will have its worldwide theatrical release for the festive occasion of Diwali 2023.

 Prabhakar Jaini to direct ‘Swathi’ magazine owner Balaram’s biopic   

There is no need to introduce the popular Telugu weekly Swathi, which has been winning the hearts of millions of readers for the past 40 years. The man behind the magazine and its enormous success is Vemuri Balaram. Now, a biopic is being made on the famous media entrepreneur, and it is titled, "Swathi Balaram - Athade Oka Sainyam."

Renowned writer and director Prabhakar Jaini, who earlier directed Campus Ampasayya, Pranaya Veedhullo and Prajakavi Kaloji, is the director of this movie. Vijayalakshmi Jaini is producing this biopic under the Jaini Creations banner. The pre-production works related to the movie are underway and the film will go on floors once the director finalises the cast and crew members. 

Speaking about the biopic, director Prabhakar Jaini said, "Be it a youngster or an oldie, everyone read Swathi magazine secretly and the man behind it is Balaram garu."

"During our conversation, I showed him a song composed by Vandemataram Srinivas garu for the Kaloji biopic. He was happy after knowing that I make movies. Then I expressed my desire for making a biopic on him. After a few discussions, he accepted my proposal and I said to him that I don't take any remuneration for this movie." added Prabhakar Jaini. 

He further commented that he collected the necessary information from Balaram garu, and through other sources. He also noted that he recorded a song for the film and made the media bigwig listen to it. "I also completed a schedule by capturing some scenes in his office, house and Kodali and Ghantasala villages. 

The team is currently looking for the right person who resembles the younger version of Balaram garu. The auditions are currently happening now and the aspirants can contact the team by sending their profiles to balaram.biopic@gmail.com.
