  ‘Thellakagitham’ Team Celebrates Success; Bekkem Venugopal Gets Emotional

The team of ‘Thellakagitham’ recently held a success meet in Hyderabad following the film’s positive response from audiences. Presented by Mrs. K. Sridevi and produced by Krishna Kommalapati under the Arunachala Creations banner, the film stars Harsh Roshan and Nakshatra in the lead roles. Ramesh Bandireddi directed the movie, while Nandu Savarigana handled the story, screenplay and dialogues.

Released on October 2, the film has been receiving encouraging feedback from audiences, particularly for its emotional content and performances.

Speaking at the event, Harsh Roshan thanked the audience for supporting the film. He said the team made the movie with a lot of passion and was happy to see children, youngsters and families enjoying it in theatres. He expressed gratitude to the producer, director, writer, cast and technical team, and urged those who had not yet watched the film to experience it on the big screen.

Nakshatra said she was overwhelmed by the response and revealed that audiences were already identifying her with her character, Asha. She thanked the director, producer, cinematographer and entire team for supporting her throughout the journey. She also recalled the fun moments she shared with Harsh Roshan on the sets and said the music helped her connect deeply with several emotional scenes.

Director Ramesh Bandireddi expressed happiness over the appreciation coming from audiences and industry personalities. He revealed that veteran filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao had personally called him after watching the film and appreciated the performances, locations and the team’s effort. Ramesh also thanked producer Krishna Kommalapati for standing by the project throughout its long journey and supporting the team without compromising on the film.

Actor Ajay thanked the audience for making the film a success. He said the response improved steadily after the premieres and expressed confidence that the film would reach even more of its target audience in the coming days. He credited director Ramesh and writer Nandu for helping him deliver his performance and praised the entire team for working together like a family.

Actress Shrawya said she was happy to be part of the film and described the project as a long journey. She revealed that the movie began when she was still in school and finally reached theatres while she was studying intermediate. She thanked the producer, director, writer and the audience for their constant support.

Producer Bekkem Venugopal became emotional while speaking about the film. He said Krishna Kommalapati was very close to him and that he considered the project almost like his own production. He compared Thellakagitham to some memorable romantic films that connect strongly with audiences.

Venugopal said the film was witnessing growing collections across different areas and overseas. He congratulated Krishna for taking the risk of backing Nandu’s story and appreciated director Ramesh for staying committed to the project for several years.

Speaking about the performances, Venugopal became emotional and said, “When I saw Roshan crying on screen, tears came to my eyes.” He also praised Nakshatra for delivering a very natural performance despite this being her first film.

He thanked ETV Win for supporting the movie and appreciated the distributors and audience for their response. He also requested the media to take the film to a wider audience.

Writer Nandu Savarigana thanked everyone who supported the film and described Thellakagitham as a genuine film made with a strong emotional core. He said the response from audiences had been encouraging, with many viewers calling and messaging the team after every show.

Nandu added that the film does not depend on star power. “The movie itself is our star, and the audience is taking it forward,” he said. He expressed hope that the film would continue its successful run and reach more viewers in the coming days.
