Husharu 2 Teaser Out

Husharu 2 Teaser Out: The Gang Returns with a Wild Tequila Venture and a Surprise Cameo

The gang that turned the 2018 youthful entertainer Husharu into a sleeper hit is back for another misadventure. Writer-director Sree Harsha Konuganti has reunited the crew for the sequel, Husharu 2, and the newly launched teaser reveals a storyline that swaps their original beer dreams for high-stakes tequila distilling.

In the sequel, the group is determined to rebuild their fortunes after being wiped out financially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their latest venture? Setting up what they claim will be India’s first agave-based tequila distillery.

The ambitious plan takes them to the rugged hinterland of Chittragunj. Naturally, things quickly unravel. Instead of smooth-flowing spirits and easy profits, the boys find themselves in deep trouble, sparking an escalating sequence of blunders that forces them into a frantic escape through dense surrounding forests.

The teaser saves its biggest talking point for the final moments: an unexpected appearance by veteran actor-filmmaker R. Narayana Murthy. Known almost exclusively for directing and headlining his own socially conscious cinema, Murthy’s presence marks the first time he has acted in a film helmed by another director—a notable casting coup that adds serious intrigue to the comedy.
