‘Due Date’ Begins Regular Shoot in Hyderabad
Lomesh Pudipeddi and Jayashree Lead Anand K’s Courtroom Drama
The much-awaited Telugu film ‘Due Date’ has entered its regular shooting phase, with the makers commencing principal photography in Hyderabad today.
Starring Lomesh Pudipeddi and Jayashree in the lead roles, the film is being directed by Anand K and produced by Pawan Tharigopula and Eluru Sreenu under the banner of Varish Studios. Actors Praneetha Patnaik and Vignani will be seen in pivotal roles, along with Krishna Bhagavan and others.
Following its official launch, the film has now moved into its first major shooting schedule. Key sequences featuring the lead actors and other important members of the cast are being filmed at various locations across Hyderabad. The makers have planned a 15-day continuous schedule for the current phase.
Describing the film, the producers revealed that ‘Due Date’ is a commercial courtroom drama with suspense, emotion and contemporary relevance. The story revolves around the familiar concept of a “due date” and presents it through an engaging cinematic narrative.
