Vijay Deverakonda’s Powerful Avatar Takes Center Stage in Ranabaali Teaser
Ranabaali to hit worldwide screens on October 16
The teaser of Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited period action drama Ranabaali has been released, offering a powerful glimpse into the film’s intense world. Vijay appears in a fierce and rugged avatar as Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, a warrior who stands up against British oppression.
Set during British rule, the story takes audiences back to a time when a devastating famine left people struggling for food. The teaser shows British officers taking away the grains produced by the local people, while those who protest face brutal consequences.
Ranabaali refuses to remain silent. He takes up his sword and fights against the British forces, determined to protect his village and its people. Vijay’s commanding screen presence and intense action moments stand out throughout the teaser.
His introduction as “Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali” is one of the major highlights, while his powerful warning about not allowing even a single grain to leave his village adds to the character’s strength and determination.
The teaser also ends on an intriguing note, with a mysterious hand emerging from a cave and picking up a pot filled with an unknown liquid, hinting at a deeper mystery in the story.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali promises a grand period action spectacle backed by impressive visuals, large-scale action and strong emotions. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead, while Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo portrays the key character Sir Theodore Hector.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner and presented by T-Series, the film is inspired by real historical events from the period between 1854 and 1878.
With its massive scale and Vijay Deverakonda’s striking transformation, Ranabaali is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on October 16, during the Vijayadashami festive season.
