‘Vishwanath & Sons’ Pre-Release Event Turns Grand in Hyderabad
Suriya, Venky Atluri, Naga Vamsi and the film’s team express confidence ahead of August 14 release
The excitement surrounding ‘Vishwanath & Sons’ reached a new high with a spectacular pre-release celebration held at Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening. The event witnessed the presence of lead actors, filmmakers, producers, industry personalities, political leaders and a massive gathering of Suriya’s fans.
Starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, the film is directed by Venky Atluri. Presented by Srikara Studios, the family entertainer is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music.
With its songs, teaser and trailer creating considerable buzz, the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14, 2026.
Suriya: “You Will Fall in Love With This Film”
Addressing the huge gathering, Suriya expressed his gratitude to Telugu audiences for their continued affection over the years.
He recalled how Telugu audiences embraced him in films such as Ghajini and Suriya S/O Krishnan, saying that the bond he shares with the Telugu states remains extremely special.
Speaking about the film, Suriya said he has complete confidence that audiences will connect with the story and characters. He praised director Venky Atluri for his sincerity and writing ability, while also appreciating producer Naga Vamsi and the entire technical team.
Suriya also revealed that his six-month stay in Hyderabad during the making of the film became a memorable chapter for him. He described his collaboration with Mamitha Baiju and veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar as particularly special.
He further credited Trivikram Srinivas for extending his support to the project and said he is looking forward to collaborating with Venky Atluri again.
