‘Ameer Log’ Trailer Showcases Hyderabad Basti Spirit, Youthful Energy & Swag
Awwal Number Productions is gearing up for its maiden production, Ameer Log, a youthful entertainer steeped in the unmistakable flavour of Hyderabad. Produced by Madhavi Reddy Soma and directed by Ramana Reddy Soma, with Manohar Reddy Manchuri as co-producer, the film features MC Hari, Manoj and Sasidhar in the lead roles. Vedha Jalandharr, Raavan Nitturu, Vishwender Reddy and Saiyogi appear in key roles. The theatrical distribution rights across the Telugu states have been acquired by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media.
After generating interest with its teaser, the makers have now released the theatrical trailer, offering a lively glimpse into the film’s world.
Set against the backdrop of Hyderabad’s Old City, the story follows a group of youngsters from a close-knit basti. Cricket, friendships, street rivalries, local hangouts and family expectations form an integral part of their everyday lives. With pressure mounting to find jobs and settle down, the youngsters come up with an unexpected idea born out of a local feast starting their own biryani business, Kiraak Biryani.
What begins as a small local venture soon takes them into the corporate world. Their unmistakable basti attitude, slang and approach to life create amusing clashes with the polished corporate environment, setting the stage for plenty of humour and entertaining situations.
The friendship between MC Hari, Manoj and Sasidhar emerges as one of the trailer’s biggest strengths. Their effortless chemistry, lively banter and humorous arguments add an authentic touch, while conversations surrounding careers, family responsibilities and aspirations bring emotional depth to the narrative.
Director Ramana Reddy Soma infuses the film with a strong Hyderabad identity, balancing humour, youthful energy, emotion and local culture. The trailer suggests an entertainer that could appeal to both youngsters and family audiences through its relatable characters and rooted storytelling.
SVK’s cinematography brings the colourful streets and vibrant atmosphere of Hyderabad alive, while Smaran Sai’s energetic background score elevates the trailer with a mix of punchy beats, ethnic percussion and soulful melodies. Rohit Penumatsa is in charge of editing.
With its youthful characters, friendship, humour, emotion and authentic Hyderabad basti swag, Ameer Log makes a lively impression with its theatrical trailer. The film is set to hit theatres on August 21st.
