Commercial Courtroom Drama Due Date Kicks Off with a Grand Muhurat Ceremony

The upcoming commercial courtroom drama Due Date officially commenced with a grand pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The event witnessed the presence of several noted filmmakers, producers, and celebrities from the Telugu film industry, who extended their best wishes to the team.

Popular Telugu film journalist and PRO Eluru Srinu is stepping into film production for the first time with Due Date, in association with producer Pawan Tarigopula. The film is being produced under the Varish Studios banner, while Anand K is directing the project.

The inaugural shot featuring lead pair Lomesh Pudipeddi and Jshree, along with actors Praneeth Patnaik and Vignani, was filmed during the ceremony. Director Maruthi gave the first clap, producer Bunny Vas switched on the camera, and successful producers SKN, Dheeraj Mogilineni, and Vamsi Nandipati presented the script to director Anand K, wishing the team success.

The event was also attended by directors Vijay Kanakamedala and VI Anand, besides several producers, directors, and members of the Telugu film fraternity.

Sharing details about the project, the makers revealed that Due Date is a commercial courtroom entertainer inspired by a relevant issue from contemporary society. They promised an intense and engaging screenplay filled with unexpected twists, fresh storytelling, and strong entertainment value that will keep audiences invested throughout. The team also announced that the film's regular shoot will begin shortly.
