The Climax Twist in Transfer Trimurthulu Will Leave Everyone Surprised – Actress Rashi Singh
Actress Rashi Singh, who stars opposite Vadde Naveen in the upcoming family entertainer Transfer Trimurthulu, interacted with the media ahead of the film’s release on June 19. Produced by Vadde Naveen under the Vadde Creations banner and presented by Vadde Jishnu, the film marks the directorial debut of Kamal Teja Narla.
Tell us about your role in Transfer Trimurthulu?
I play Lakshmi, a simple and relatable woman who feels like the girl-next-door. The character is very natural, and I performed most of the role without makeup to maintain authenticity. It’s not a typical mother’s role, but a character deeply connected to family emotions and relationships.
Did you know much about Vadde Naveen before signing the film?
Once I learned I would be working with Vadde Naveen garu, I did quite a bit of research about his career and watched some of his earlier films. In fact, one of the first things I asked him was why he had stayed away from films for such a long time! (laughs)
How important is your character to the story?
Lakshmi is a supportive wife who stands firmly beside her husband through every situation. Personally, I’m very different from the character, which made it an exciting challenge. She is always prepared for the frequent transfers her husband faces and remains his biggest strength, even when situations become frustrating. It’s one of the most distinctive roles I’ve played so far.
How was your experience working with director Kamal Teja Narla?
Kamal garu is extremely clear about what he wants. He keeps working on a scene until he gets exactly the emotion and performance he envisions. He was very particular about how Lakshmi should be portrayed and paid close attention to every detail. His understanding of filmmaking is impressive, and working with him was a smooth and enjoyable experience.
What was it like working with Vadde Naveen?
Vadde Naveen garu is incredibly knowledgeable and intellectual. You can discuss almost any topic with him, and he always has fascinating insights to share. The only thing he seems to avoid is social media! I tried many times to convince him to open an Instagram account, but he never agreed.
How is your restaurant business doing?
It’s doing very well. During the shoot, Vadde Naveen garu often asked me about my business ventures. He was surprised to learn about my restaurants and cafés. I’ve always loved food and coffee, which inspired me to enter the hospitality business. My brother studied hotel management, and his guidance has also been very helpful.
Do you feel more comfortable as an actress or an entrepreneur?
I genuinely enjoy both. There’s still so much I want to achieve in life. My journey began when I started modeling at the age of 14 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. I even finished runner-up in a Miss Chhattisgarh competition. Interestingly, my family found out about it only after seeing my photo in the newspaper. Academics never interested me much, and later I began my professional career as an air hostess. Today, I’m balancing both acting and business.
What projects are you currently working on?
I recently completed an OTT project titled Gossip. Apart from that, a few other projects are currently in discussions. I’m looking forward to taking on diverse roles and working in films with unique stories. Whether it’s a glamorous character or a performance-driven role, I’m open to exploring both.
Have you watched Transfer Trimurthulu?
During the shoot, I wasn’t told the entire story. I only knew the portions that involved my character. After watching the completed film, I was genuinely surprised. Vadde Naveen garu has managed to create several unexpected moments. I was happy with how my character appeared on screen and felt I had done complete justice to the role. The climax twist, in particular, is outstanding and leaves a strong impact. I truly believe Transfer Trimurthulu will connect with audiences and emerge as a memorable film.
