Transfer Trimurthulu Offers a Unique Story with Family Entertainment and Thrills – Hero & Producer Vadde Naveen
As Transfer Trimurthulu gears up for its theatrical release on June 19, actor-producer Vadde Naveen spoke about the film, his comeback, and what audiences can expect.
Q: What attracted you to the story of Transfer Trimurthulu?
Vadde Naveen: The story felt very different and refreshing. It has suspense and thrilling moments, but at the same time, it's a film that families can enjoy together. My role is also quite unique and unlike anything I've done before.
Q: This seems different from the films you've done earlier. Was that intentional?
Vadde Naveen: Absolutely. Audience tastes have evolved. Today, people look for fresh concepts and engaging storytelling. Transfer Trimurthulu brings something new while still offering complete family entertainment.
Q: Why did you choose to produce your comeback film yourself?
Vadde Naveen: I had strong confidence in this story from the beginning. I wasn't sure if anyone else would believe in it as much as I did. That's why I decided to back it myself.
Q: Does the film have enough entertainment along with the thrills?
Vadde Naveen: Definitely. The entertainment comes naturally through the character of Trimurthulu. I play a constable, and the situations he faces create both fun and drama. It's not a routine commercial film.
Q: How realistic is the film?
Vadde Naveen: It's rooted in realism. We haven't added anything unnecessarily. Songs and action sequences appear only where the story demands them.
Q: How was the experience of making the film?
Vadde Naveen: Filmmaking has changed a lot over the years, and budgets are much higher now. Still, because we planned everything carefully, the production went smoothly. I'm also happy that Zee has acquired the OTT rights.
Q: Tell us about director Kamal Teja Narla.
Vadde Naveen: He dedicated a lot of time and effort to the script. We spent nearly a year refining the story. His vision and approach felt very fresh.
Q: How was working with Raashi Singh?
Vadde Naveen: She plays my wife in the film and has done a wonderful job. Audiences will definitely appreciate her performance.
Q: How does it feel to receive so much love from audiences after your return?
Vadde Naveen: It's overwhelming. For years, people have been asking me to return to films. Seeing their affection and support now means a lot to me.
Q: Which recent films or performances impressed you?
Vadde Naveen: I loved Rangasthalam, especially the performances of Ram Charan and Jagapathi Babu. I also enjoyed Allu Arjun's role in Pushpa. Among recent films, I liked Court and admired the performances in it.
Q: Why launch your comeback with a new director instead of an established one?
Vadde Naveen: I wanted to understand where I stand today as an actor. After this film releases, I'll have a better idea of my current market and future direction.
Q: What kind of response are you expecting?
Vadde Naveen: I believe audiences will appreciate the film's content. Around a hundred members of my family watched it, and many were pleasantly surprised by the story and screenplay.
Q: Which current-generation actors do you admire?
Vadde Naveen: I like Nani and Sharwanand because they consistently choose strong scripts and interesting characters.
Q: What are your plans after this film?
Vadde Naveen: Right now, I'm focusing on solo hero projects. But if a good story comes along, I'm open to multistarrers and OTT projects as well.
Q: Finally, what can audiences expect from Transfer Trimurthulu?
Vadde Naveen: The film starts off steadily, but once the main conflict begins, it becomes very engaging. The climax is something audiences won't see coming. I believe they'll have a memorable experience in theatres.
