Likhita of “Raanu Nene Bombayki Raanu” Fame Plays the Female Lead
The upcoming film SAV3, featuring Samrat, Demon Pawan, and popular folk sensation Likhita, was formally launched with a traditional pooja ceremony in a grand manner. Produced by V. Vijaya under the Lakshmi Krishna Films banner, the film marks the production house’s second venture. The project is directed by actor-filmmaker Krishna Maya. Veteran producer Ashok Kumar attended the event as the chief guest and conveyed his blessings to the team.
Speaking at the launch, Ashok Kumar praised Krishna Maya’s dedication to cinema, describing him as a creative personality who has excelled in multiple departments, including acting, art direction, writing, and filmmaking.
I have known Krishna Maya for many years. His passion for cinema has always been remarkable. Even though filmmaking is filled with challenges, his determination never fades. Audiences continue to support films that offer genuine entertainment, and I believe SAV3 has that potential. I wish the entire team great success and hope this film opens doors for many more projects,” he said.
Director Krishna Maya revealed the significance behind the film’s unique title.
The title SAV3 is inspired by the names of the lead characters. ‘Sa’ represents Savitri, played by Likhita; ‘V’ stands for Vijay Kumar, portrayed by Demon Pawan; and ‘3’ refers to Trivikram Raju, played by Samrat. Interestingly, we are conducting the pooja after completing most of the film. We focused all our resources on production first and are now celebrating this milestone as we near completion,” he explained.
The director added that the film is progressing smoothly through post-production and expressed confidence that the performances of the lead actors, along with Sai Karthik’s music, will be among the film’s biggest strengths.
Actor Samrat shared that he returned to acting after a break because he was impressed by the script.
The story, inspired by real-life incidents and set against a rural backdrop, immediately connected with me. Krishna Maya extracted a completely new side of my performance. This is one of the most satisfying roles I have played in my career,” he said.
Demon Pawan said he was convinced to join the project after hearing the director’s narration.
Krishna Maya’s storytelling is highly engaging. The film allowed us to perform naturally and improvise on set. I am confident audiences will connect strongly with the characters and the story,” he stated.
Likhita expressed her happiness about making her mark as a heroine with a meaningful role.
“I had been waiting for a script that would give me scope to perform. This project offered exactly that. Working with talented co-stars and a committed director made the journey enjoyable. I believe audiences will appreciate the sincerity with which we approached every scene,” she said.
Producer V. Vijaya thanked the cast and crew for their efforts and expressed confidence that SAV3 would resonate with movie lovers.
