Director Pardasaradhi Kommoju’s upcoming suspense thriller Sandigdham, produced by Sandhya Tiruveedhula under the Thirdha Creations banner, is gearing up for a theatrical release on May 29. Featuring Nihal, Priya Deshapag, Arjun CH, and Kajal Tiwari in lead roles, with Thera Chepa fame Naveenraj Sankarapu playing the antagonist, the film has already created curiosity through its teaser, songs, and trailer. Ahead of the release, the team held a grand pre-release event on Tuesday, where veteran producer and filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaj attended as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Tammareddy Bharadwaj appreciated the team for choosing a meaningful Telugu title like Sandigdham. He said the visuals shown in the teaser and trailer reflected the hard work the team put into shooting in forest locations. Speaking about changing trends in film promotions, he noted that social media has now become the major platform, though it is difficult to judge how effectively promotions reach audiences. He urged everyone to support and promote small films, adding that creating awareness about a release is just as important as the film’s success. He expressed hope that Sandigdham would emerge as a major success.
Director Pardasaradhi Kommoju thanked the media for standing by the team throughout the film’s journey and expressed gratitude to Tammareddy Bharadwaj for attending the event. He credited producer Sandhya Tiruveedhula for supporting him throughout the making process and praised the cast and technicians for their dedication. He specially mentioned editor Vishwan Raj and music director Gautham for their valuable contribution. The director said making and releasing a small film comes with many challenges and hoped audiences would encourage Sandigdham when it arrives in theatres on May 29.
Lead actor Nihal thanked the director for giving him the opportunity to be part of the film and requested audiences to watch it in theatres. Actress Priya Deshapag expressed gratitude to the director and producer for trusting her with a role and appreciated the support she received from the team during the shoot.
Actress Kajal Tiwari shared that the team went through several hardships while filming in forest locations and hoped audiences would support the film after its release. Actor Arjun CH thanked the makers for giving him an important role and recalled the challenges faced during the shoot. He praised his co-stars’ performances and highlighted cinematographer Nandan Krishna’s visuals as one of the film’s strengths.
Actor Anand stated that the film keeps viewers engaged with suspense till the climax and said he strongly believes it will succeed. Villain actor Naveen Raj thanked Tammareddy Bharadwaj for constantly encouraging small films and said audience support for newcomers would motivate more meaningful cinema. He added that the film has shaped up very well and is sure to impress viewers.
Actor Nagi Reddy praised the film’s strong storyline and expressed confidence that it would become a hit. Actor Chitti Babu described the shooting experience as enjoyable and said the director and producer treated everyone like family. Actor Gaddam Naveen mentioned that he had missed an opportunity to be part of the film earlier and wished the team great success.
