Summer Holidays Aims to Bring Back Childhood Memories and Family Fun to Theatres
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni is coming up with a children’s entertainer titled Summer Holidays under the banner of Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments. Directed by Srikar, the film features child artists Rohan, Arun, and Khushi in lead roles. The teaser of the film was launched recently in the presence of producer Dil Raju as chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Dil Raju appreciated Dheeraj’s passion for cinema and said it has been a long time since Telugu audiences got a proper children’s film. He expressed confidence that Summer Holidays would entertain families and children together in theatres.
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said he made the film with the intention of giving families a wholesome theatrical experience. He shared that despite some people discouraging him from making a children’s film, he strongly believed audiences would connect with the nostalgia and emotions in the story. He also said the success of such films could encourage more filmmakers to explore this genre.
Director Srikar said the film was possible because of the support and belief shown by Dheeraj. According to him, the movie blends fun, emotion, friendship, and memorable childhood moments in a refreshing way.
Director Sai Rajesh praised Dheeraj for backing meaningful stories with courage at a time when filmmakers are unsure about what kind of content will work. He appreciated the team for attempting a genre that is rarely explored today.
Several guests and team members highlighted how the film captures memories of summer vacations, grandmother’s homes, childhood games, and friendships. Child actors Rohan, Arun, and Khushi expressed happiness about being part of the project and hoped audiences would enjoy the film.
Actors Rajeev Kanakala, Vasuki Anand, Harshini, and others also spoke about their memorable roles and praised the performances of the young cast. Music director Sinjith Yerramilli said the film carries five songs and called it a special project in his career.
Many directors who attended the event appreciated the teaser and expressed confidence that Summer Holidays would connect emotionally with audiences and become a memorable family entertainer.
