Hyderabad: Afsar Azad is one of those rare personalities who balances success and social responsibility with equal dedication. While he entertains audiences as an actor, he is also known for his generosity and service to society.

Born on June 5, 1983, in Vikarabad to MD Babumia and Razia Begum, Afsar completed his B.A. and took on responsibilities at a young age. Instead of waiting for opportunities, he created his own path through hard work.

He entered the business world at just 15 by starting a small samosa business in Moosapet. Over the years, he expanded his efforts and today runs an Arabian Mandi restaurant. He is also actively involved in agriculture, showing his interest in multiple fields.

Afsar stepped into the film industry with the movie Simhachalam. With dedication and passion, he built a strong presence in Telugu cinema, acting in films like Sarainodu, Mahanubhavudu, Bale Bale Magadivoy, and Babu Bangaram. He has played a variety of roles, from character artist to villain, and even appeared as a lead actor in the bilingual film Poye Enugu Poye. He also worked in Tamil and Bhojpuri films, gaining wider recognition.

For his commitment to action roles, especially performing real stunts without a body double in films like Gate and Rudra IPS, he received the Real Star Srihari Award.

Beyond cinema, Afsar Azad is deeply committed to social service. In 2019, he started the Azad Foundation to support the underprivileged. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped around 1,400 families by providing groceries and essential medicines. He also established an old age home, where 22 elderly people are currently being cared for with proper facilities.

Afsar Azad’s journey is a strong example of how determination and kindness can go hand in hand. He continues to grow as an actor while making a meaningful impact on society.
