 TFJA Launches Diary, Insurance & ID Cards with Chiranjeevi

The Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) marked the Telugu New Year by launching its 2026–2027 diary and renewing its annual insurance plan. The event was graced by Chiranjeevi, who officially unveiled the initiatives.

This year, the insurance coverage for journalists’ families (2+2) has been increased from ₹5 lakhs to ₹10 lakhs. A new accident policy has also been introduced, offering ₹10,000 per week for journalists who require bed rest for 2 to 12 months due to accidents.

TFJA also issued ID cards to ensure proper identification of film journalists. These were distributed to Executive Committee members by Chiranjeevi during the event.

Appreciating the association’s efforts, Chiranjeevi donated ₹5 lakhs towards the welfare of its members.

The event was attended by TFJA President Y.J. Rambabu, General Secretary Prasadam Raghu, Treasurer Naidu Surendra, Politburo Convener Varanasi Lakshminarayana, and other committee members.
