He said receiving an award named after the legendary Gaddar was a huge honour because he grew up listening to his songs, which had a powerful influence across Telangana. He also thanked producer Benny Muppaneni and director Muralikanth Devasoth for trusting him.
Actor Sivaji, who won one of the awards, spoke with humility. He said he truly wished the award had gone to the director instead of him. Thanking Jr. NTR for promoting the film with his tweet, he said the award actually belonged to the entire team and technicians who worked on the film. He praised cinematographer Venkat R. Shakamuri and editor Srujana Adusumilli for their work.
Sivaji also shared the effort he put into the role, revealing that he hardly slept during the shoot because the character required a tired and worn-out look. He said the film showcases the acting talent of many strong Telugu performers and expressed confidence that the powerful writing of Dhandoraa would continue to win more awards.
Producer Benny Muppaneni thanked the Telangana Government, the jury, the media, and the entire team. He described the film as a true teamwork effort and acknowledged the support he received from fellow producers and the press.
Actor Nandu congratulated the award winners and appreciated the technicians’ contributions. He also suggested that the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards should consider introducing a Best Producer category, saying producing films like this requires great courage.
