Emo Emo Idi marks an exciting collaboration between director Dr. Sailesh Kolanu and producer Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, bringing a fresh romantic comedy featuring Roshan Meka and Preity Mukundhan. The title itself gives off a breezy and youthful romantic vibe.
The announcement glimpse starts with a light and humorous conversation between a mother and son, playfully reflecting on Gen Z relationship lingo and the amusing confusion around modern-day love and marriages. It then introduces the female lead, who is seen listening to a classic old song from her playlist, subtly highlighting her emotional depth and affectionate nature.
Known for his intense thrillers in the HIT Universe, Sailesh Kolanu steps into a completely new genre with this film, making his first attempt at a rom-com. This time, he aims to deliver a fun, warm, and easygoing entertainer filled with love, laughter, and relatable moments.
Roshan Meka plays the role of Abhay, a charming boy-next-door navigating love in the Gen Z era, after gaining recognition with Pelli Sandadi and Champion. Preity Mukundhan appears as Apurva, and her lively presence in the glimpse has already created a positive buzz among audiences.
The music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, whose soulful style perfectly suits the film’s romantic tone, while cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu captures the visuals with a soft and breezy aesthetic that enhances the film’s mood.
