Raakaasaa, starring Sangeeth Shobhan, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on April 3, 2026. The makers officially announced the release date as the film has wrapped up shooting and moved into the final phase of post-production.
Presented by Z Studios and produced under the banner of Pink Elephant Pictures, the film is written and directed by Manasa Sharma. Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal are producing the project.
With filming completed, the team is currently focusing on editing, background score, sound design, and visual finishing to prepare the film for its big-screen release. Along with the date announcement, a new poster was unveiled, giving a glimpse of the film’s fun-filled, fantasy-based vibe.
Earlier, the teaser released on YouTube caught attention by setting the mood rather than revealing the storyline. It hinted at a mix of humour, fantasy, and mild suspense, creating curiosity among audiences.
Since its announcement, Raakaasaa has drawn interest for its unique genre combination and the makers’ measured promotional approach. Now that the release date is confirmed, promotions are expected to intensify in the coming days.
The film features Nayan Sarika as the female lead and includes a strong supporting cast with Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukwinder Singh, Rohini, Rohan, and others.
One of the key shooting schedules involved high-energy action sequences choreographed by Vijay, followed by comedy and story-driven scenes to keep the narrative engaging.
On the technical front, the film has music composed by Anudeep Dev, cinematography by Raju Edurolu, and editing by Anwar Ali. Production design is handled by Ramanjaneyulu, with Pulla Vishnu Vardhan as Art Director, while costumes are overseen by Sandhya Sabbavarapu.
After her debut production Committee Kurrollu, producer Niharika Konidela continues her focus on content-driven cinema with Raakaasaa. Supported by Z Studios, the film promises to be an entertaining fantasy-comedy made for theatrical audiences.
