“Euphoria Respects the Audience’s Time, Money, and Intelligence” – Director Gunasekhar at Grand Pre-Release Press Meet
Euphoria, starring Sarah Arjun in the lead role along with Bhoomika, Nazar, Rohith, and Vignesh Gavireddy in key roles, is all set for a grand theatrical release on February 6. The film is directed by sensational filmmaker Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna and Yuktha Guna, with Ragini Guna presenting it.
Ahead of the release, the team held a grand pre-release press meet on Thursday, where the cast and crew shared their thoughts.
Director Gunasekhar said,
“I entered the film industry in 1992 with the movie Lathi, and Euphoria is my 14th film. Even after all these years, I feel the same excitement today as I felt for my first movie. I wanted to tell a fresh story in a completely new way.
I strongly believe that audiences are like gods. I deeply respect their time, money, and intelligence, and I never want to waste them. Keeping this in mind, I made Euphoria. This film gives importance to the audience’s thinking and sensibility.
Everyone who has watched the film so far has been surprised by the scale, the budget, and the courage to tell such a strong story with new faces. Many felt it comes across as a powerful family film.
Sarah Arjun is the soul of this story. I decided to make this film only after she agreed to do it. Bhoomika is the backbone of Euphoria. She is a very strong person, but this is the first time I’ve seen her so emotionally intense on screen. She lived the role of Vindhya Vemulapalli.
Vignesh is the brain of this film, while Prithvi performed brilliantly in a role that fits today’s reality. Likhitha impressed everyone in a character that reflects spoiled kids of modern times.
The film revolves around adolescence, parenting, and social impact. I didn’t make this movie using my intelligence as a filmmaker, but by observing society as a common man. Though the title isn’t in Telugu, audiences will understand why Euphoria is the perfect title once they watch the film.
The story is inspired by real-life incidents. Cinematographer Praveen has delivered fresh visuals, and Kaala Bhairava’s background score is outstanding. He has truly proved himself. Every technician and actor worked with full dedication.
We made Euphoria as a family film, and I believe youth and parents alike will connect deeply with it.

“Making a film like Euphoria requires a lot of courage. There is always risk involved, but Gunasekhar garu and his family were bold enough to take it.
I’ve already watched the film, and it affected me so deeply that I couldn’t sleep properly that night. The story stayed with me for a long time. Prithvi, Likhitha, and Vignesh delivered wonderful performances.
Even after so many years in cinema, I believe there is still so much for me to learn. I request everyone to watch Euphoria on February 6 and support this film.”
Producer Neelima Guna said,
“Many people think Euphoria is only a message-oriented film, but those who have seen it appreciated how a new story is presented with strong commercial elements.
I personally connected deeply with Bhoomika’s character. I truly believe this will be one of the best films in her career. Sarah Arjun is the soul of this movie, and Likhitha, Vignesh, and Prithvi all performed exceptionally well.
With the strong support of our cinematographer Praveen, music director Kaala Bhairava, and editor Praveen Pudi, we successfully brought this film to this stage. I am confident Euphoria will touch many hearts. Please watch it in theatres on February 6.”
Likhitha said,
“I studied MBBS and also worked as a model. I even won the Femina Miss India title, but my family was not initially supportive of my acting career. I convinced them by telling them I was working with Gunasekhar garu.
I am thankful to the director and producers for giving me such a wonderful role in Euphoria. Acting alongside Bhoomika and Gautham Menon was a great experience. I played the character Amrutha, which has many surprises. I hope the audience will love the film.”
Vignesh said,
My parents watched the premiere of Euphoria and felt extremely proud. That itself is a big success for me. Just being associated with Gunasekhar garu has earned me a lot of respect among my friends and relatives.

The premiere of Euphoria received an amazing response. I saw a completely new version of Gunasekhar garu as a filmmaker.
Though I should have been introduced earlier, I feel blessed to be launched by a director like him. Only producers like Neelima, Yuktha, and Ragini can make a film like this.
Every performance moved me emotionally, and I even had tears in my eyes. Euphoria will definitely leave a strong impact on the audience.
