Manaswini Balabommala to Make Her Film Debut with “Kokkoroko”
Young performer Manaswini Balabommala is ready to step into Telugu cinema with her first film “Kokkoroko.” On the occasion of Sankranthi, the makers released a special festive poster and wished everyone a Happy Sankranthi, while also confirming that the film will hit theatres soon.
The poster also gave fans the first official look of Manaswini, where she is seen along with senior actor Samuthirakani and other cast members. Though she appears in a guest role, it marks her official entry into films and has already created interest among movie lovers.
Before entering cinema, Manaswini has been active in the performing arts. She has experience in theatre and played lead roles like Jo in Little Women and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. She is also trained in Perini Natyam, and has a strong base in Carnatic music. Apart from acting and dance, she has performed devotional pieces and also worked as an anchor for major school events at Glendale Academy.
Kokkoroko is produced by Ramesh Varma, who is making his debut as a producer under RV Film House. The film is directed by newcomer Srinivas Vasanthala and is presented as an anthology with five different characters. The story is based around the theme of traditional rooster fights.
Produced by Rekha Varma and Kurapati Sireesha, the film has already completed shooting and is expected to release in 2026 under Neelladri Production. The movie features music by Sankeerthan, cinematography by Akash R Joshi, and dialogues by GV Sagar. With a fresh concept and rooted storytelling, “Kokkoroko” is expected to be a unique project and a memorable debut for Manaswini Balabommala.
