Harmanpreet Kaur calls ‘Mardaani 3’ trailer insane; wants strict punishment for crimes against women
Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has praised the trailer of Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3, calling it “insane” and saying she can’t wait to watch the film.
Sharing her reaction, Harmanpreet wrote that swift and example-setting punishment is the need of the hour for crimes against women. She also thanked the police force for working every day to protect girls and women across the country.

Ever since the trailer was released by Yash Raj Films, it has been receiving strong appreciation from audiences. Rani Mukerji returns as Shivani Shivaji Roy, the fearless cop who races against time to rescue 93 missing young girls.
Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Aditya Chopra, Mardaani 3 continues the franchise’s focus on hard-hitting social issues. While Mardaani highlighted human trafficking and Mardaani 2 explored the mind of a serial criminal, the third part takes on another disturbing reality in society.
Mardaani 3 is set to release worldwide in theatres on January 30, 2026. The film also marks a special moment for Rani Mukerji as she celebrates 30 years in the industry.
