 Grand Trailer Launch for ‘Sumathi Sathakam’ in Tirupati; Film Set for February 6 Release

The upcoming Telugu entertainer Sumathi Sathakam celebrated a lively and well-attended trailer launch in Tirupati, building strong buzz ahead of its theatrical release on February 6. The film will reach audiences across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through Mythri Movie Makers.

Backed by producer Sai Sudhakar Kommalapati under the Vision Movie Makers banner, the film is both written and directed by MM Naidu. Amardeep Choudhary and Shaili Choudhary headline the project, supported by a vibrant ensemble that includes Tasty Teja, Mahesh Vitta, JDV Prasad, Akella Gopi Krishna, Kiran Vijay, Mirchi Kiran, Nellore Neeraja, Malakpet Shailaja, and others.

The film’s visuals are handled by cinematographer S. Halesh, while Naheed Mohammed takes charge of editing. Earlier promotional contentsuch as the first look, teaser, and songshas already generated encouraging feedback from viewers.

As part of the promotional tour, the team unveiled the trailer at Sri Ram Engineering College, Tirupati, where students and faculty welcomed the cast and crew with enthusiasm.

Director MM Naidu expressed gratitude to the college for hosting the event and praised producer Sai Sudhakar for maintaining high production standards. He highlighted Amardeep’s dedication, noting that the actor continued shooting despite a serious hand injury. He also shared that the film offers a mix of humor, suspense, and devotional elements, with Mahesh Vitta appearing in a unique romantic role as a sarpanch. According to him, the film is designed to satisfy a wide range of audience tastes.

Producer Sai Sudhakar Kommalapati said the response from students was heartwarming and recalled the positive reception the team received throughout Rayalaseema during promotions. He described the film as a wholesome family entertainer packed with clean comedy and thanked the college management and students for their support.

Heroine Shaili Choudhary shared her excitement about the energetic crowd and said the film was made with sincerity and passion. She invited audiences to watch the film in theatres and extend their encouragement to the team.

Hero Amardeep  spoke about the special connection he felt launching the trailer at a college, calling it nostalgic as it reminded him of his own student days. He emphasized the effort he put into the film, even working through injuries, and said the story blends comedy, spirituality, suspense, and emotion. He requested audiences to give the film a chance in theatres.
