Winning Hearts Matters More Than Stardom– Sriram

My goal is to touch audiences’ hearts through meaningful cinema – Young Hero Sriram

Young and energetic actor Sriram has had a packed year in Tollywood, actively juggling both acting and production. He is currently gearing up for the release of two films Young and Dynamic and Maa Ramudu Andarivaadu scheduled to hit theatres in early 2026. As the New Year approaches, Sriram opened up about his journey, creative choices, and vision for the future in a special interaction.

Roots and inspiration

I hail from Nellore and come from a middle-class family. From a very young age, I have been an ardent admirer of Megastar Chiranjeevi garu. His films left a deep impression on me and sparked my desire to become part of the film industry. That inspiration continues to guide me even today.

No film background, only belief

I entered the industry without any backing or godfather. I trusted only my dedication and passion. Alongside acting, I’m also producing films under my banner, Srirama Productions. I firmly believe that strong content always finds acceptance, no matter who the faces are.

Looking back at 2025

The year 2025 has been extremely fruitful. I wrapped up two films and simultaneously spent a lot of time developing scripts for future projects, which will be announced soon. Both my upcoming films are in the post-production stage and are being prepared for release in the New Year.

What audiences can expect

I’m keen on doing films that can be enjoyed by families together. These two movies are set in rural backdrops and are rich in emotion, rooted storytelling, action, and entertainment. I’m confident they will resonate with viewers.

Role of music

Music is an essential element in my films. Maa Ramudu Andarivaadu features vocals by well-known singers like Geetha Madhuri and Nalgonda Gaddar. The fact that its lyrical songs have crossed seven lakh views is truly motivating for the entire team.

Thoughts on multistarrers

I’m completely open to multistarrer projects. If the script is strong, I wouldn’t hesitate to share screen space with another hero. Collaborating with senior or star actors would be a great learning experience.

Breaking image barriers

I don’t want to limit myself to hero roles alone. If a well-written antagonist role comes my way, I’d gladly take it up. What matters most to me is being respected as a performer, not the label attached to the character.

Sankranti and cinema celebrations

Sankranti releases were a big part of my childhood, especially films of Chiranjeevi garu and Balakrishna garu. Watching them in theatres felt like a festival. This Sankranti also has exciting films lined up, including Prabhas garu’s Raja Saab and movies starring Chiranjeevi garu and Ravi Teja. Since the releases are well-spaced, I believe all the films will benefit.

On recent comments about women’s attire

Every woman has the right to choose what she wants to wear. No one has the authority to comment on or control that choice. Making such remarks is unnecessary and unfortunate. In today’s world, even close family members don’t impose opinions on each other so commenting on others’ personal lives makes no sense.

A note to the audience

To the Telugu audience, who always stand by good cinema beyond names and banners I wish you all a very Happy New Year and Sankranti. May this year bring joy, growth, and positivity. Please continue to support meaningful films.

 With gratitude,

Sriram
