Producers Overwhelmed by the Response to ‘Patang’ Trailer

Patang  Trailer Wins Hearts; Producers Call the Response Unbelievable

Patang, a youthful comedy sports drama set against the vibrant backdrop of kite competitions, is presented by Suresh Productions under the supervision of D. Suresh Babu. The film is jointly produced by Cinematic Elements, Rishan Cinemas, and Monsoon Tales, with Vijay Shekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, Suresh Kothinti, and Nani Bandreddi as producers. Praneeth Prathipati directs the film.

The movie stars Instagram sensation Preethi Pagadala and Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa runner-up Pranav Kaushik in lead roles, along with Vamsi Pujith. Noted filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon and popular singer-actor S. P. Charan play key roles. Patang is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 25.

The recently released trailer has received an overwhelming response, exceeding the expectations of the makers. To celebrate the success of the trailer, the team held a special event followed by a press meet.

Speaking at the event, Vamsi Pujith said that everyone who watched the trailer responded positively. He added that the film carries the same joyful and energetic vibe throughout and highlighted that the kite competition sequences are crafted at a world-class level.

Lead actress Preethi Pagadala shared her happiness about being part of the film and expressed gratitude for the love the trailer is receiving. She confidently stated that audiences who enjoyed the trailer will surely love the film as well.

Actor Pranav Kaushik described Patang as a challenging yet emotional journey. He spoke about the struggles he faced in his career and how demanding it was to make a kite-based sports drama. He praised the director and producers for their dedication and mentioned that even initial critics of the trailer are now appreciating it. Wishing success to all films releasing on December 25, he said, “Cinema should win.”

Producer Vijay Shekhar Anne compared the film’s journey to a roller-coaster ride, calling it thrilling and memorable.

Suresh Kothinti said that despite delays, the team stayed united and committed to delivering a quality film.

Producer Ramya said she joined the project because she strongly believed in its content and praised the young team’s hard work, adding that the film perfectly suits the festive season.

Sampath Maka stated that the team always trusted the story and is confident the film will stand out among the year’s releases.

Producer Nani Bandreddi also attended the press meet and shared the team’s excitement over the growing buzz around the film.
