Eesha Will Offer a New Horror-Thriller Experience, Say Producers Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati
After delivering cult hits like Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambayi, producers Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati are now set to thrill audiences with a horror-thriller titled Eesha. The film is being produced under Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vaas Works, and is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on December 25.
Eesha stars Akhil Rajfresh off the success of Raju Weds Rambayialong with Trigun in lead roles. Hebah Patel plays the female lead, while Siri Hanumanthu, Babloo, and Prithviraj appear in key supporting roles. The film is produced by Hem Venkateswara Rao under HVR Productions and presented by noted producer K. L. Damodar Prasad. Directed by Srinivas Manne, the film’s recently released trailer has received a strong and surprising response.
As the release date approaches, Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati shared their thoughts with the media.
Speaking about choosing Eesha as their third project, Bunny Vaas clarified that it was purely a content-driven decision.
There is no obligation involved. We only take up films we truly believe in. If the content doesn’t excite us, we move on. We agreed to Eesha because we liked the story.
Explaining why they ventured into the horror genre, Vamsi Nandipati said,
The film grabs attention within the first ten minutes. It stays gripping and scary throughout. The final fifteen minutes are very different and will surprise the audience.
On whether the film can live up to the expectations associated with their names, Bunny Vaas expressed strong confidence.
Even when some of my films didn’t work, they never failed in distribution. I truly believe Eesha will meet expectations. We decided to go ahead only after watching the first copy. This film will definitely justify our belief.
When asked if Eesha would be similar to their previous successes, Vamsi Nandipati said comparisons were unnecessary.
Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambayi delivered exactly what we expected. The same will happen with Eesha. The opening will be impactful, and the climax will be stunning.
Sharing plans for the future, Bunny Vaas revealed that three new films will be announced in February 2026one under Geetha Arts and two under Bunny Vaas Works.
Addressing the perception that horror films cater to a limited audience, Vamsi Nandipati explained,
Eesha is not just a horror film. It has something for everyone. The final twenty minutes go beyond fear and leave the audience with a meaningful message.
Talking about their unique marketing and release strategy, he added,
We don’t stop at production. From editing to RR, music, marketing, and even non-theatrical deals, we handle everything with a clear plan. We believe in releasing films with a complete strategy, and that’s the trend we’re creating.
With strong confidence from its producers and an intriguing premise, Eesha promises to deliver a fresh horror-thriller experience this Christmas.
