Magic District Opens at AMB Sarath City Capital Mall, Hyderabad
Hyderabad has a brand-new attraction with the launch of Magic District, Asia’s first real-life, multi-theme adventure destination, at AMB Sarath City Capital Mall, Kondapur. The launch was announced during a media interaction, where organisers introduced the concept as a completely immersive entertainment experience.
Spread across 38,000 square feet on the 6th floor, Magic District offers more than regular amusement activities. Instead of just watching, visitors step into live, story-based worlds and become part of the adventure.
The concept has been created by Tava Srinivas, a National Award winner and Limca Book of Records holder. Speaking at the event, he said the idea behind Magic District is to present Indian creativity and innovation at an international level. He also shared plans to roll out 27 different adventure concepts across India in the future.
“With over 25 years of experience, our aim was to bring world-class and never-seen-before adventure experiences to Hyderabad. Magic District at AMB Mall marks our first phase with large-scale immersive concepts,” Srinivas said. He also mentioned that his daughter Chandana Lipi, who left her job in the United States, has joined the project as Operations Director.
Chandana Lipi explained that Phase 1 includes four adventure zones, with more themes to be added later.
Current Adventure Zones:
Zombie City: A thrilling survival experience set in a zombie-infected city.
Scary Escapes: A group-based adventure where players solve puzzles and escape from scary situations.
Scary House: An intense horror experience with live actors and chilling sound effects.
Boo Boo House: A fun, kid-friendly spooky zone designed to help children overcome fear.
Another director, K. Raj Kumar, said the response from visitors has been extremely positive since the launch.
Though seven themes are planned in total, the first phase opens with four unique experiences. Magic District aims to become a must-visit destination for families, students, and tourists, adding a new dimension to immersive entertainment in Hyderabad.
