Popular actor Naveen Polishetty is all set to entertain Telugu audiences once again with his upcoming film Anaganaga Oka Raju, releasing for Sankranthi 2026. After delivering three back-to-back blockbusters, expectations are high for this festive entertainer.
The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. Directed by debutant Maari, the film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, with music composed by Mickey J. Meyer. The movie is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 14, 2026.
As part of promotions, the team recently hosted a creative event titled Raju Gari Pelli Reception at Radisson Blu Plaza, Hyderabad. Designed like a real wedding reception, the event grabbed attention for its fun and festive concept. Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshi Chaudhary danced to popular songs Bhimavaram Balma and Raju Gari Pelli Ro, and later greeted the media as a newly married couple. Journalists joined in the fun by blessing the couple and interacting in a light-hearted manner.
Addressing the gathering, Naveen Polishetty extended New Year wishes and shared his journey with the film. He revealed that 2024 was a challenging year due to an accident that kept him away from shooting for a long time. The love and support from the audience helped me recover both mentally and physically. During that time, we developed the story of Anaganaga Oka Raju, he said.
He added that the film went on floors in February and was completed in just six months. The output has come out really well. Our producers felt Sankranthi was the best time to release it. This film is made with heart, keeping families in mind. Sankranthi is all about entertainment, and this movie perfectly matches that festive vibe, Naveen shared. He also wished success to other big Sankranthi releases, calling the season a true feast for cinema lovers.
Speaking on the occasion, Meenakshi Chaudhary said, This is my third Sankranthi release, and I’m very happy to be part of Anaganaga Oka Raju. It’s a wonderful family entertainer, and I’m confident audiences will enjoy it. I’m eagerly waiting to see you all in theatres on January 14.
