Tharun Bhascker on Santhana Prapthirasthu: “It gave me the same satisfaction as a homemade Telugu meal”
Santhana Prapthirasthu, starring Vikranth and Chandini Chowdary, is gearing up for a grand release on November 14. The film is produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nivi Hariprasad Reddy under Madhura Entertainment and Nirvi Arts, directed by Sanjeev Reddy with a screenplay by Sheikh Dawood G.
Director and actor Tharun Bhascker, who plays a unique role named Jack Reddy a funeral services business owner attached to his caste identity said his character will bring both humor and depth to the story.
After watching the preview, Tharun Bhascker praised the film, saying,
When I acted in Santhana Prapthirasthu, I had some doubts. But after watching it, all my doubts vanished. It’s a clean, entertaining film that flows naturally with fun and emotions. It reminded me of Ayushmann Khurrana’s style of storytelling dealing with a sensitive issue like infertility in a light yet meaningful way.
He added,
Watching it felt as satisfying as eating a delicious home-cooked Telugu meal. The film never feels heavy; it’s enjoyable from start to finish. My character, Jack Reddy, represents people we often see in real life rough on the outside but kind-hearted inside. The role even has scope for a spin-off.
Tharun also praised the team’s efforts, saying,
