 Grand Swearing-in Ceremony of Smt. V. V. Sumalatha Devi as TFTDDA President

Smt. V. V. Sumalatha Devi, wife of popular choreographer Jani Master, has been elected as the President of the Telugu Film and TV Dancers and Dance Directors Association (TFTDDA). The grand swearing-in ceremony was held in Hyderabad on Thursday in the presence of several prominent guests.

Srisailam Yadav and Jubilee Hills MLA Naveen Yadav attended the event as chief guests and extended their wishes to the newly elected body.

Speaking at the event, MLA Naveen Yadav expressed happiness that, for the first time, a woman has been elected as the President of the union. He said Sumalatha Devi’s victory would bring a fresh and positive change to the association. Praising Jani Master’s inspiring journey, he stated that both Jani Master and Sumalatha Devi earned this win through the trust of the members and assured his continued support to the union.

Addressing the gathering, Smt. V. V. Sumalatha Devi thanked everyone who supported and voted for her. She assured that she would work sincerely to address and resolve all issues faced by the union members.

Srisailam Yadav congratulated Sumalatha Devi and the newly elected members, urging everyone to resolve internal issues amicably and move forward together for the betterment of the association.

Producer C. Kalyan also spoke on the occasion and appreciated Srisailam Yadav’s long-standing support to film workers. He highlighted the social service done by Srisailam Yadav’s family and said Sumalatha Devi’s leadership would bring positive growth to the union. He assured full support from the industry.

Jani Master thanked all the members for their trust and support. He said the new body would work dedicatedly for the welfare of the union. He shared plans to provide health insurance to all members and mentioned that actor Ram Charan extended financial support for this initiative. He also thanked Srisailam Yadav and Naveen Yadav for assuring housing plots for union members and expressed his wish to provide retirement support to members in the future.

During the ceremony, K. Srinivasa Rao took oath as General Secretary, P. Chiranjeevi Kumar as Treasurer, K. Suresh and M. Raju as Vice Presidents, K. Kiran Kumar and A. Ramu as Joint Secretaries, U. Shiva Krishna as Executive Secretary, along with other committee members.

Several industry representatives and officials, including Telugu Film Chamber and Federation members, were present at the event and congratulated the new team.
