Raju Weds Rambai Continues Strong Run at the Box Office Bunny Vas & Vamsi Nandipati
Raju Weds Rambai, starring Akhil Raj and Tejaswini, is performing strongly across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, winning audience hearts and receiving positive reviews. The film is produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi under Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales, and directed by Sailu Kompati. Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works released it in theatres.
The movie has collected ₹7.28 crore gross in just 3 days, with an exceptional response in the Nizam region.
Bunny Vas said:
The response is beyond expectations. The film collected ₹7.28 crore so far, with ₹5.02 crore from Nizam alone. Single screens in Telangana are performing better than multiplexes. Andhra started slow but picked up strongly yesterday, with good numbers in Vizag, Krishna, Guntur, and East.
The ₹99 ticket pricing strategy and the shutdown of iBomma helped theatrical numbers significantly. Almost 70% of exhibitors have now accepted this pricing model. If collections reach ₹50 crore, I won’t be surprised.
I thank ETV Win for believing in this project and supporting young directors.
Vamsi Nandipati said:
The audience response is overwhelming, especially from young women. We are expecting four times returns on investment. Based on demand, we have already added more screens.
Nizam is performing strongly, and both multiplexes and B & C centers are reporting great numbers. The ₹99 ticket offer and the absence of piracy due to iBomma shutdown played a major role in bringing people back to theatres.
Good content needs strong promotion and quick reach. That’s what we focused on.
Raju Weds Rambai continues to grow with strong word-of-mouth and rising occupancy across regions.
