‘War 2’ Pre-Release Event Highlights – NTR & Hrithik Rock the Stage
Two of India’s biggest stars – NTR and Hrithik Roshan – are coming together for the much-awaited action entertainer ‘War 2’, produced by Aditya Chopra under YRF (Yash Raj Films) and directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film also stars Kiara Advani and will release worldwide on August 14. The Telugu version is being released by Sithara Entertainments’ Naga Vamsi.
With songs, teaser, and trailer already creating massive buzz, a grand pre-release event was held on August 10th.
NTR Speaks
Thanked producer Naga Vamsi for convincing him to attend such a public celebration after years of avoiding large gatherings due to a tragic fan incident.
Said Aditya Chopra was the main reason he accepted ‘War 2’ and promised fans they will feel proud after watching it.
Praised director Ayan Mukerji for his hard work and vision, calling him a future blockbuster director.
Shared his admiration for Hrithik, calling him “India’s finest and irreplaceable actor” and “the greatest dancer”.
Said dancing beside Hrithik was an honour and they both learned from each other during 75 days of shooting.
Mentioned how Rajamouli broke barriers for South actors and thanked Hrithik for treating him warmly in Bollywood.
Called ‘War 2’ not just his Hindi debut, but also Hrithik’s Telugu debut, promising fans an amazing experience.
Got emotional recalling his 25-year journey, thanking his late father Nandamuri Harikrishna, his family, friends, media, and especially his fans.
Promised: “With War 2, I’ll make my fans raise their collars again. The movie has great fights, dances, twists – it’s a festival. Don’t spoil the surprises!”
Hrithik Roshan Speaks
Called NTR “your Anna (elder brother), but my younger brother” and said they have become like family.
Recalled the love Telugu audiences have shown him since ‘Krrish’.
Said working with NTR made the film even more special, and both gave their all despite injuries during shooting.
Praised NTR as a “first-take artist” who works with total confidence, and revealed he’s also an amazing cook – “I’ll remember his biryani for life.”
Said ‘War 2’ will have more intensity and drama than the first film.
Praised NTR and Hrithik’s combination, saying watching them dance together is a treat for the eyes.
Said Ayan would have fully used NTR’s charisma on screen.
Predicted the film will be huge and urged everyone to watch it before Vinayaka Chavithi.

Welcomed Hrithik to Tollywood and said NTR’s name is now recognised worldwide.
Promised Ayan’s “hat-trick hit” is coming, and the fans should get ready with paper celebrations on August 14.

Asked Telugu audiences to give even bigger openings than Hindi on Day 1.
