Minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy Lauds ‘Annapurna Thalli Buvamma’ at Shoot Wrap-Up
The shoot of Annapurna Thalli Buvamma has been successfully completed, marking a key milestone for the film. Headlined by Samudra, Shivika, Kusuma, Supriya, Naveen Matta, Rohil, Adil, and Rupesh, the project is jointly produced by Siraj Khaderan Gori under Gori Brothers Media and Black & White Movie Mark banners, with Suresh Lankalapalli in the director’s chair.
The shoot wrap-up event was graced by former minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy, along with Radhikapati Das Prabhu and Sai Vijayender Singh. Balineni felicitated the team with mementos and hailed the film’s noble theme.
“Many didn’t know about Dokka Seethamma, also revered as Annapurnamma, until Pawan Kalyan brought her story to light. She devoted her entire life to feeding the needy a true embodiment of compassion. I commend the makers for portraying such an inspiring figure on screen. Inspired by Pawan Kalyan, I will also launch an annadanam program in Ongole in her name. Society today needs more such meaningful films,” Balineni said.
Lead actress Shivika, who steps into the shoes of Dokka Seethamma, called it a dream debut, while actor-director Samudra, playing her husband, described the opportunity as a “lifetime achievement.” Director Suresh Lankalapalli credited his cast and crew for bringing emotional depth to the story, and the producers confirmed that post-production will start soon, with the release date to be revealed shortly.
