Niharika Konidela Launches Her Second Production PEP2 with a Grand Pooja Ceremony
After the success of her debut film Committee Kurrollu, actress and producer Niharika Konidela has kickstarted her second venture under Pink Elephant Pictures. Tentatively titled PEP2, this upcoming film promises to be a fun-filled fantasy-comedy that brings a fresh pairing to the big screen Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. The project is being helmed by director Manasa Sharma.
The official launch of the film took place with a traditional pooja ceremony at the Glass House, Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The event was graced by several notable guests from the industry. Acclaimed filmmaker Nag Ashwin gave the first clap, Mallidi Vassishta rolled the camera, and Kalyan Shankar directed the film’s very first shot, lending their support to the young team.
PEP2 will begin its regular shoot on July 15, with filming set to take place in and around Hyderabad. Backed by a young and creative team, the film is expected to deliver a blend of magical storytelling and comedy that appeals to a wide audience.
The film boasts an impressive supporting cast including Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukwinder Singh, Aruna Bikshu, Ramana Bhargav, Vasu Inturi, Rohini (Jabardasth), Rohan (of 90s fame), and many more.
Manasa Sharma has written the story, and collaborated with Mahesh Uppala on the screenplay and dialogues. The technical crew includes music composer Anudeep Dev, cinematographer Raju Edurolu, and editor Anwar Ali. The art and production design departments are led by Pulla Vishnu Vardhan and Ramanjaneyulu, respectively. Costumes are being handled by Sandhya Sabbavarapu, and action choreography is by Vijay. Manyam Ramesh is on board as the executive producer.
PR is managed by Naidu Surendra Kumar and Phani Kandukuri from Beyond Media, while Ticket Factory is handling the film’s digital marketing. YouWe Media is the official event partner.
