Komalee Prasad Clears the Air: Not Quitting Acting!
Actress Komalee Prasad has put an end to recent rumors suggesting she is stepping away from acting to return to her career in medicine. The speculations began after she shared an Instagram story where she was seen wearing a dentist's apron, sparking assumptions that she had resumed her medical practice full-time.
Responding to the buzz, Komalee took to social media to clarify things once and for all. She said that the photo was simply misunderstood and there’s no truth to the idea that she’s quitting acting.
In her note, Komalee wrote, “That post created an unexpected misunderstanding. I’ve seen a few articles and videos floating around claiming I’m now a full-time doctor and leaving acting behind. I want to be very clear—this is not true.”
She went on to say that her acting journey, though full of challenges, is something she cherishes deeply. “It’s taken a lot of hard work to reach where I am today, and I’m more focused than ever on growing in my craft. Acting is my passion, and I’ll continue to give it my all,” she added.
Grateful for the support, she thanked her fans, saying, “Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in me. I’m being very selective with my scripts and I can’t wait to share some exciting updates soon. Om Namah Shivaya.”
Komalee was last seen in the successful thriller HIT: The Third Case and will soon appear in the romantic drama Sasivadane, along with other exciting projects on the horizon.
