A New Journey Begins: Telugu Film Payanam Launched with a Fresh Storyline
Directed by Chanduram under the Chayachitralu banner and produced by Swarna Kamal, the film had a grand launch event. The first scene featuring the lead pair was ceremonially shot with Raghu Master giving the first clap, and actor–music director Raghu Kunche switching on the camera.
Director Chanduram shared,
"Payanam will offer something new. It’s a drama-suspense thriller with unexpected twists. We’ve designed each character to feel real, with Avasarala Srinivas playing an important role."
Producer Swarna Kamal added,
"We’re making a film that reflects today’s audience’s tastes—fresh, emotional, and engaging. Shooting starts July 7 and will take place in Mancherial, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha."
The cast includes Supraj, Sangeerthana Vipin, Avasarala Srinivas, Aamani, Mime Madhu, and Mehboob Basha. The film’s story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Veera Reddy and Satish Kumar Moola. Shoaib handles cinematography, with music by Raghu Kunche.
