The North America Telugu Society (NATS) is gearing up for the highly anticipated 8th Telugu Sambaralu, scheduled to take place from July 4th to 6th in Tampa, USA. As part of the preparations, a grand Curtain Raiser Event was recently held in Hyderabad. The event saw the presence of key NATS representatives, including Telugu Sambaralu Conference Convener & Former Chairman Srinivas Guttikonda and NATS Chairman Prashanth Pinnamaneni, who traveled from the U.S. to address the media.

Several prominent personalities from the Telugu film and literary world graced the occasion as chief guests, including actresses Jayasudha and Aamani, directors Harish Shankar and Meher Ramesh, music composer Thaman, and lyricists Ramajogayya Sastry, Chandrabose, and Kalyan Chakravarthy.

Speaking at the event, Prashanth Pinnamaneni stated,

"When people hear ‘NATS,’ they think of service and language. We established this organization in 2009 to support Telugu people in North America. Back home, we have friends and family to rely on, but in the U.S., many Telugu individuals lack a support system. NATS provides that strength and assurance. Our goal is to preserve and promote the Telugu language for future generations while also offering assistance in times of need. The upcoming 8th Telugu Sambaralu will be a grand celebration, featuring renowned Telugu poets, artists, actors, and prominent figures from various fields. Our dedicated team of 300 members is working tirelessly to make this event a success, and we expect around 10,000 attendees. Additionally, we have outlined our vision for the next 15 years, focusing on further service initiatives and community support.

NATS Conference Convener Srinivas Guttikonda expressed his gratitude to all attendees and emphasized the importance of preserving Telugu culture and language.

The Telugu language has a rich heritage, and NATS is committed to passing it on to future generations. The service activities we undertake have received widespread appreciation, and we will continue to expand our efforts. The 8th Telugu Sambaralu will be an event like never before, and we invite everyone to join us in celebrating it with the same enthusiasm as Dussehra and Deepavali.

Actress Jayasudha

NATS is not just about celebrations; it is a service-oriented organization. They invited me to their previous Telugu Sambaralu, but I couldn’t attend due to my mother’s passing. However, this time, I will be there for sure. Interestingly, I recently worked on an English film, and its shoot took place near the venue of the upcoming NATS Telugu Sambaralu. I wish NATS great success with this event.

Music Director Thaman

I had the honor of participating in the previous NATS Telugu Sambaralu, and I’m thrilled to be performing a concert once again, alongside Devi Sri Prasad. In addition to the musical night, we are organizing a cricket tournament on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, where the NATS team will compete against another team, featuring actors like Akhil Akkineni and Sudheer Babu. I share a strong bond with Prashanth garu and Srinivas garu, and I’m grateful for the way they respect and support us. I hope this event will be an even bigger success.

Director Harish Shankar

Prashanth garu and Srinivas garu are dear friends of mine. When they called, I immediately confirmed my attendance at the event. Their dedication to promoting Telugu culture and supporting Telugu people worldwide is commendable. I hope NATS continues its excellent work and expands further.

Director Meher Ramesh

The very logo of NATS represents language and service. This is a fantastic organization that has done remarkable work, including humanitarian efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am happy to be part of this event.

Lyricist Chandrabose

NATS is doing a commendable job not only in preserving the Telugu language but also in ensuring its reach to future generations. I am honored to participate in the Telugu Sambaralu and will be hosting a special program alongside Ramajogayya Sastry.

Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry

NATS has been conducting incredible programs for the welfare of Telugu people and the preservation of our language. I deeply appreciate their efforts and am delighted to be a part of the Telugu Sambaralu celebrations.

Actress Aamani

When I was invited to attend the Telugu Sambaralu, I felt genuinely happy and immediately confirmed my participation. Organizations like NATS, which have a strong purpose and vision, should continue to expand and extend their services to a broader audience.

The 8th Telugu Sambaralu promises to be a grand celebration, bringing together Telugu people from all over the world to celebrate their language, culture, and heritage.
