Dr. Chiranjeevi Konidela is set to receive a prestigious honour at the House of Commons – UK Parliament – in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society through cultural influence. Hosted by Mr. Navendu Mishra, MP of the ruling Labour Party from Stockport, the grand felicitation will take place on March 19, 2025. The event will also be graced by other esteemed MPs, including Mr. Sojan Joseph and Mr. Bob Blackman.
As part of this prestigious occasion, Bridge India, a leading public policy think tank in the UK, will present Chiranjeevi with the “Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Public Service through Cultural Leadership.” This marks the first time the organization is conferring a Lifetime Achievement Award, underscoring the exceptional impact of Chiranjeevi’s legacy beyond cinema.
The recognition holds special significance as it comes from both UK lawmakers and a reputed institution like Bridge India, reinforcing Chiranjeevi’s global influence in philanthropy and cultural leadership.
This international honour follows a series of prestigious accolades for Chiranjeevi in 2024. He was conferred India’s second-highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan, and earned a Guinness World Record as the Most Prolific Actor/Dancer. Additionally, he was bestowed with the ANR National Award by the Akkineni International Foundation during the ANR Centennial celebrations.
