Thiruveer on a Roll with Three Exciting Films
After making a mark with strong performances in George Reddy and Palasa 1978, Thiruveer has successfully transitioned into lead roles, impressing audiences with Masooda and Pareshan. Now, the versatile actor is gearing up for his next film, The Great Pre-Wedding Show, where he plays a wedding photographer.Directed by Rahul Srinivas, the film is a lighthearted entertainer blending humor and drama. Talking about his role, Thiruveer shares, “Playing a professional photographer was a new challenge. While I’ve taken plenty of photos on my phone, handling a professional camera required me to learn posture, movement, and technique. It was a fun and insightful experience.
The film was recently shot in Araku, where the team braved chilly winter mornings. “The temperatures dropped to single digits, especially in the early hours. It was tough, but the team’s energy kept us going he recalls.
Meanwhile, Thiruveer is wrapping up work on Bhagavanthudu and has two more exciting projects in the pipeline. Reflecting on his journey post-Masooda, he says, “I’ve become more selective, and I’m grateful that filmmakers are offering me roles that suit my persona while allowing me to explore my versatility. My theatre background helps me dive deep into my characters, and the fact that writers are crafting roles for me feels like the biggest validation an actor can get.
